'Survivor: Island of the Idols' season 39: A romance between Dean and Chelsea is the last thing fans want to see
There's a new romance blooming on the series, and that's the last thing fans want to see on 'Survivor'.
When 'Survivor: Island of the Idols' season 39 aired on October 9, we witnessed another blindsided elimination and learned to always use your idol if you have one when you yourself in danger of being eliminated, especially if it lasts only for the next two tribal councils.
In terms of strategizing and using his brains to think, Vince worked well during his task of stealing fire from the Vokai tribe. But his overconfidence in assuming the women are voting Tom out, and resorting not to use his immunity idol, just proved he made the worst of an already bad situation. He ended up leaving the island with an idol in his pocket when he could have easily used it and saved himself from the elimination.

With that said and done, next week's preview teases that there might be a new romance blossoming between Dean and Chelsea, and it's the last thing you'd ever want to see. The Vokai tribe also has to vote and see who they would choose to send next to the Island of the Idols. But amongst it, all that has caught the eyes of fans is the hint of a romance between Dean and Chelsea.
Taking to social media post the episode, fans revealed that a showmance on the series is the last thing they want to see this season, especially when things are just getting interesting.
"I really hope Chelsea doesn't blow up her game for Dean - she's so much of a better player," a fan on Twitter wrote. Adding to that another said, "Dean and Chelsea tryna put a target on their back by being in a showmance."
"A Chelsea Dean romance angle is possibly the last thing I want to be watching on #Survivor. Delsea?" wrote a fan. While another added, "So how bad is this gonna be ? Will she forget her own gameplay for a guy ? Will her fellow lady tribemates . Not like this coupling up."
"Well with one confessional tonight and a hint of a showmance next week, looks like Dean is out of the running for a purple edit #Survivor39 #Survivor," said a fan.
