It has been five seasons of 'Supergirl' and the CW show is now nearing Episode 100. Chyler Leigh, who plays the role of Alex Danvers, Kara Danvers's sister on the show, took to Instagram to share an emotional post. She shared a photo with Melissa Benoist, who plays Kara on the show. Right after this photo, she posted a screenshot of the popular Titanic dialogue, "It has been 84 years."

She wrote, "WOW 😲 It certainly has been an amazing journey for the #danverssisters over 100 episodes! @melissabenoist you are one of my most favorite people on this earth (now that all of them have been combined, that says a lot Sister) I love you and will keep loving you for the next 84 years."

Fans are in love with the photo and flooded the post with photos, "I love the Danvers sisters," one wrote. "Another commented, "It's is amazing."

In the previous episode of 'Supergirl' titled 'Back To the Future'Part 2, Alex quit DEO, hopefully, to focus more on her personal life. Lex Luthor is still diabolical and is determined to overpower the other big bad - the Leviathan.

The next episode of 'Supergirl' promises to be an interesting one. Kara and Lena Luthor's friendship has suffered a sharp blow, ever since Lena discovered the real identity of Supergirl. The official synopsis reads, "Mr Mxyzptlk returns with a proposition for Kara; Kara must decide if she wants to change history to become friends with Lena again." Meanwhile, Kara has struck down the chance of a romance with William Dey as she is worried that he might react the same way Lena did.

This season of 'Supergirl' saw the multiversal crisis and Kara being hailed the Paragon of Hope, along with the other superheroes including Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Batwoman (Ruby Rose).

'Supergirl' airs on The CW, Sundays at 9 pm.
