Jasmine Ellis Cooper opens up on husband being labeled 'controlling'

The trailer of 'Summer House: Martha's Vineyard' hints that as the show goes ahead Silas will be labeled "controlling" by his fellow mates in the house. But is he really? Jasmine addressed her husband being called out for being 'controlling' in an interview with US Weekly. The star said, "We’re real people and we’re sharing our lives and we’re happy to. But it’s gonna get a little bumpy along the way. We’re OK with that." She added that Silas being away for half a year for military training created a gap between the couple's relationship.

However, she appreciate the fact that he came back just before the wedding and took the trip with her to "relearn" each other. "It wasn’t the easiest every moment, but we didn’t. I think we did a good job," stated Jasmine. Jasmine accepts that she and Silas "might argue, fight, but we’re gonna take a shot and move at the end of the day."

Silas Cooper accepts not being 'flexible'

Silas holds no grudges for being called out for being 'controlling.' She explained his side, "I think one thing I’ve learned about myself is that routines have worked for me. Structure has worked for me." The star claims that he has a caring attitude towards people around him. "Whether it’s army, whether it is this woman I love, whether it’s the job I have. And sometimes I’m not as flexible and I can own that," said Silas. He further cleared the air saying, "I don’t want to be on defense about it. I understand why folks may look at it and I respect their opinion."

Silas and Jasmine will be seen landing in a feud as they come across the bumps of the marriage in Bravo's 'Summer House: Martha's Vineyard'. However, it's certain that they will manage to come out stronger and not separated.

'Summer House: Martha's Vineyard' drops new episodes on Sunday at 9 pm ET on Bravo.
