LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Sugar', the latest series on Apple TV+, has intrigued fans with a suspenseful plot. While the main focus is on John Sugar's (Colin Farrell) investigation into Olivia Siegel's (Sydney Chandler) disappearance, we know that every character harbors secrets of their own, likely to be unfolded as the series progresses.

From David/Davy Siegel (Nate Corddry) to Ruby (Kirby Howell-Baptiste), everyone seems to be hiding something crucial from John Sugar, making it challenging for him to crack the case.

Meanwhile, enigma around a character named Dr Vickers (Scott Lawrence) lingers even after three episodes have been released.

Since the pilot episode, Ruby has been mentioning Dr Vickers to John Sugar. She repeatedly urges Sugar to meet Dr Vickers as she fears that his health condition is deteriorating and may need urgent medical care.

Though it initially appeared that Dr Vickers might be just another physician, Dr Vickers now seems to have a significant role in John Sugar's life, perhaps even one that Sugar himself isn't aware of yet.

In 'Sugar' Episode 3, Ruby makes a cryptic call to Dr Vickers, sharing vital information about the case John Sugar is working on.

When Ruby informs him that Sugar is going to dig into Byron Stallings' (Eric Lange) records, Dr Vickers asserts that he must be stopped. He further instructs Ruby that "others" must be informed, especially Miller.

Although even at this point it isn't clear who Miller is and what Dr Vickers' role is in the ongoing mystery, it has definitely set a strong premise.

It appears that Dr Vickers is the head of the spy group that looks into missing person cases around the globe.

Though Ruby and Dr Vickers are withholding crucial information from Sugar, it seems that they are eventually trying to save him from the adversities currently unknown to him.

In 'Sugar' Episode 4, we hope to get more clarity on what Ruby and Dr Vickers are up to.
