LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mystery around Olivia Siegel's (Sydney Chandler) disappearance in Apple TV+'s 'Sugar' further complicates with the entry of Byron Stallings (Eric Lange), a seasoned criminal.

He first appears when he barges into Teresa Vasquez's (Cher Alvarez) residence, asking about Clifford Carter.

This character gains further weightage when Ruby (Kirby Howell-Baptiste) hides Byron's details from John Sugar (Colin Farrell). Moreover, his connection to Davy Siegel adds another layer of intrigue.

What happens between Byron Stallings and Davy Siegel in 'Sugar' Episode 4?

In 'Sugar' Episode 4, we saw Davy Siegel (Nate Corddry) receiving a call from Byron Stallings shortly after the news of Davy assaulting women made headlines. Byron seemed to be defending Davy's actions while the latter panicked over the consequences.

Byron then threatened Davy that he must not drag him in the scandal while talking to the cops or a lawyer. Even though Davy assured him that he needn't worry, Byron continued to warn that he is capable of physically harming Davy and then plays it cool by inviting him for beer.

At this point, it's unclear what exactly they both dealt in, but we may speculate that Davy probably hired Byron for some unethical services and now when Davy has come under scrutiny, Byron wants to stay out of the mess, as it is a high profile case and Byron has a previous criminal record. If his name comes up during the investigation, it will most likely put him back him prison.

Is Olivia Siegel kidnapped by Byron Stallings in Apple TV+'s 'Sugar'?

The final moments of 'Sugar' Episode 4 hinted that Byron has a big role in the entire mystery. Olivia's locket is found in his belongings and a locked door hints that he has held Olivia hostage in his basement.

Our theory is that when Olivia found out about Davy being a sexual predator, she confronted him. In order to save himself from being exposed, he probably hired Byron to kidnap Olivia.

We hope to get more clarity in 'Sugar' Episode 5, scheduled to release on April 26, 2024.
