LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In Episode 4 of 'Sugar', streaming on Apple TV+, the long-standing mystery surrounding Olivia Siegel's (Sydney Chandler) disappearance finally starts to unravel.
The mystery series revolves around John Sugar (Colin Farrell), who is hired by Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel to find his missing granddaughter, Olivia.
As he begins to investigate, he starts to uncover shocking secrets of the Siegel family which also lead him to an enigmatic character named Byron Stallings (Eric Lange).
Has Byron Stallings kidnapped Olivia Siegel in Apple TV+'s 'Sugar'?
This character was first introduced in a previous episode, where he forced himself into Teresa Vasquez's (Cher Alvarez) house and threatened her. When Ruby looks into the database, we learn that he is a seasoned criminal.
His role in the entire plot continues as his reappearance in 'Sugar' Episode 4 hints that he might have kidnapped Olivia.
A locket that Olivia was wearing in one of her Instagram videos is seen at Stallings' shelter. Moreover, we see a locked door that might be a secret room where Olivia is held hostage.
Why is Olivia Siegel kidnapped in Apple TV+'s 'Sugar'?
In the latest episode, we learn that Olivia found out about the dark secrets of her family. She was aware that her half-brother, David/Davy Siegel (Nate Corddry) was a sexual offender and since she was working as an activist, helping women victims, she must have decided to expose Davy.
We can assume that Davy found out about Olivia's plan and he hired Byron Stallings to kidnap her.
While these are just speculations based on clues from Episode 4, we're eagerly anticipating the unraveling of the mystery in the episodes to come.
