'Succession' Season 4: Viewers predict [SPOILER] will die in Episode 9 after a scathing promo
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: There’s no doubt that viewers are loving the fourth and final season of the blockbuster hit series ‘Succession’. The series has been all about family and betrayals, but Episode 8 took things to a whole new level when Kendall (Jeremy Strong) and Roman found out that Shiv (Sarah Snook) betrayed them, and supported a right-wing candidate into office as the next President. They both extend their support to the candidate from the Democratic Party and let Shiv know that what she did was really upsetting.
However, it seems the penultimate episode of the hit series will take some deviation from the election stuff and see the Roy siblings hold a funeral for their father, Logan Roy (Brian Cox). The preview gave us a glimpse of how intense things are going to be as Roman (Kieran Culkin) gets ready to give a eulogy. Now, we know that Roman tends to call himself a “showman” and this might be the perfect situation to let the world know what kind of a man he is. On the other hand, Kendall and Shiv are still reeling from the devastation of everything that has taken place in recent weeks.

Roman is set to give the 'greatest eulogy ever'
The preview ends with Roman saying, “See Kenny lie. See Shivy cry. See Roman the Showman light up the sky.”
Social media lit up as soon as HBO dropped the preview for the show’s penultimate episode and everyone started predicting that a major character is going to die in the episode. Well, we don’t know who is it going to be, but viewers have a clear answer to that query.
Fans believe the clock is ticking for Roman
One of the fans wrote, “Roman is going to die before the series finale.” Another social media user tweeted, “I'm convinced more than ever that Roman is going to die.” Another social media user wrote, “Okay so either Roman is going to take over as CEO by himself or he’s gonna die in the next episode like there’s no in-between.”

Viewers also went on to discuss the sudden change in Roman’s personality and chose to go against his sister to insist that the Democratic candidate should become the President. A lot of people were surprised by what Roman did, but there were many who saw that coming. One user wrote, “Remember 'the game' from the #Succession pilot? Over four seasons we’ve been sucked into their family drama because of the excellent craft of the show’s storytelling. But this election episode reminds us that this story is about how WE are the pawns in these rich people’s game.”

I cannot even conceive of what next week's episode will be like. That preview has me convinced that Roman is going to crack in the most tragic, uncomfortable, and slightly hilarious of ways, and it will either unite the Roys or shatter them for good. #Succession pic.twitter.com/2K86vsdwWT

It will be interesting to see how things turn out to be after the funeral and what kind of eulogy Roman is going to give to his late father. But one thing is for sure, things are going get crumble for Roman because of the way he is behaving. Also, Kendall and Shiv will be stressed after what happened in the recent episode. Kendall openly targeted his sister for betraying them and is disappointed. Meanwhile, Shiv might want to give a befitting reply to Kendall.
Will the Roys crumble? Or get united? That might be the biggest question that remains to be answered.
