Netflix 'Stranger Things' Season 4: Meet the new characters in the upcoming season

'Stranger Things' Season 4 is all set to see a slew of new characters and some of them are prominent names set to play pivotal roles in the upcoming Netflix blockbuster. The main characters are all set to reprise their role in the fourth installment. Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, and Maya Hawke will all return.

The new season also sees fresh faces in 'The Mortal Instruments' star Jamie Campbell Bower who will play Peter Ballard, an orderly at a psychiatric hospital, while Eduardo Franco ('Queenpins') will play Jonathan's (Heaton) friend Argyle. His character is described by Collider as a "fun-loving stoner" and also makes a living delivering pizza for Sufer Boy Pizza. Also playing a key role is Joseph Quinn's Eddie Munson. Fans will remember him as the Koner from HBO's 'Game of Thrones' and the British actor's character runs The Hellfire Club, Hawkins High School’s official Dungeons and Dragons club.

'Jack Ryan star Tom Wlaschiha finds himself a role in the new season as Dmitri, a Russian prison guard who becomes quite close to Jim Hopper (David Harbour). The official site describes him as "smart, cunning, and charming" and plays a crucial role as Hopper plans his escape. Also joining the cast is Sherman Augustus ('Bad Guy') who plays Lt. Colonel Sullivan, a man with a plan to end all the horrors in Hawkins. Mason Dye, best known for his role as Tom in Amazon Prime's hit thriller 'Bosch' plays rich kid Jason Carver. Collider describes his character as a "jock who dates the most popular girl in school but finds his perfect world unraveling as a new evil threatens Hawkins."

Rounding up the roster of new cast members is Nikola Duričko as Yuri, a Russian smuggler. Amybeth McNulty as Vickie, one of the potential love interests of one of the heroes. Myles Truitt ('BMF'), Regina Ting Chen ('The Contractor'), Grace Van Dien ('Greenhouse Academy') make their appearances as well with 'Nightmare on Elm Street' star Robert Englund as Victor Creel, a creepy and intimidating character imprisoned in the psychiatric hospital for committing a gory murder in the 1950s.

'Stranger Things' Season 4 is all set to premiere on May 27. The series is split into two volumes, with the second slated to premiere July 1 on Netflix.
