IVE: When does Starship Entertainment's girl group debut and what to expect

With a debut date in mind, Starship Entertainment announced the release of IVE’s debut single album ‘Eleven’

With a new girl group from a big label like Starship Entertainment, the six-member girl group under the label called, IVE is ready to make their debut. Starship Entertainment revealed all the members of the group making it one of the most talked-about girl groups in present time all thanks to the inclusion of two former members of IZ*ONE in the group. IVE will be the new group under Starship Entertainment that will promise the same popularity as Sistar, one of the veteran groups under the label.

A month after the announcement and revelation of all six members of the group, Starship has given a date for new fans as well as older WIZ*ONE’s (Fans of IZ*ONE) to look forward to with a debut slated for the end of 2021. On November 1, Starship Entertainment began introducing the members of the group with a teaser that dropped on their official Instagram and Twitter handles. With not more said about the group, the label introduced the name of the group with a moving teaser. The group was to be called IVE which is derived from the phrase, “I have…” hinting at an incomplete sentence left for the members of the group to complete with their debut.

IVE to debut with a single album

On November 10, Starship Entertainment revealed the debut release from the group. The label noted that IVE will make a debut with the release of their first single album titled, ‘Eleven’. Starship Entertainment also gave fans a much-anticipated date of debut for the group noting that the group will debut with the single album, ‘Eleven’ on December 1, 2021, making a grand debut at the end of the year, 2021 followed by a flurry of activities in the upcoming year.

The album ‘Eleven’ (stylized as ELEVEN) from IVE will release in versions 1 and 2 while one version is black and another is red, the two colors the label is using to promote the group. Each of the two versions of the album comes with a 92-page photobook, 1 CD (respective to the color of each version), one random photocard each of the 12 different versions, one folded poster for each of the six different versions.

Fans who pre-order the album ahead of its release will also receive benefits like 1 random ID Card out of six versions, one random message card out of six versions, and one poster out of two different versions with each pre-ordered album. A single version of the album is priced at 29,800 Won (25 USD).

Fans who are excited to see two members of IZ*ONE make a comeback as part of a new group as well as new fans of IVE have been excited to see the girls make a debut. One fan said, "OMGG BUT I WANT A GROUP PIC CMONNN." One fan said, "OPEN THE VLIVE CHANNEL WE NEED LIZ BIRTHDAY VLIVE," hoping for more content from the girls ahead of their debut. One fan said, "WONYOUNG WHO IS THE BEST WHEN PERFORMING ON STAGE, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN! SEE ON DECEMBER 1!!" 

One more fan said, "I have been supporting Yujin and Wonyoung since the first day and I can’t wait to see the other members too." One more fan said, "Can't wait for IVE's debut. Let's support their debut together.. Rookie monsters will be born on December 1st!" One more fan hoped, "When Ive brings back cute concepts in kpop."
