'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse': Teaser reveals Miles Morales comes across army of Spider-people

The film's teaser trailer is only 15 seconds long and showcases many Spider-People in action

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: We are just a couple of months away from the official premiere of 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' and fans will soon get a sneak peek into the upcoming movie with the trailer that will be released on April 4. The production has released a teaser of the trailer, where they announced the date of the trailer release and also amped up the excitement of what will go down in the movie.

The first trailer dropped last year on December 13, post that this is the second official trailer of the movie that is releasing three months after the first one. The film's teaser trailer is only 15 seconds long and showcases many Spider-People in action as some unknown voice seemingly warns the protagonist Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) "you can't run forever kid!" For a split-second, the clip also shows many Spider-People laying on the ground, with Peter B Parker, Spider-Woman, and Ghost Spider. The teaser surely gave us an adrenaline rush and opened possibilities to the greatness this animated movie holds.

Protecting the existence of the Multiverse



 

The official Twitter account of 'Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse', shared the new teaser along with the trailer date and wrote, "The #SpiderVerse will never be the same. The new trailer for Spider-Man: Across the #SpiderVerse arrives April 4."

'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' will continue to show the story of Miles Morales, a teenage Spider-Man. Miles Morales discovered Spider-Man from different universes in the last movie, 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,' where he comes across a team of different Spider-People who are charged to protect the existence of the Multiverse. When the entire plan of protecting the Multiverse gets mixed up when the group comes across a new threat, Miles Morales finds a new meaning of being a superhero. 

An Oscar win

'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' gathered a variety of awards and nominations, many of them in the Best Animated Feature category. At the 91st Academy Awards, the film won Best Animated Feature. It also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film and the BAFTA Award for Best Animated Film. There are three films in this animated film franchise and the third one called 'Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse' has already been announced and has been given a March 29, 2024 release date. 

The cast of 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' includes, Shameik Moore as the lead Miles Morales, Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, and Mahershala Ali as Uncle Aaron. The trailer for 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' will be out on April 4, two months before the movie premieres on June 2. Take a look at the teaser trailer till then.
