ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Easton Magliarditi is just 19 years old and seems to have already made a name for himself in the dancing industry. After appearances on several dancing shows, Easton is all set to wow the judges in 'So You Think You Can Dance' Season 18, scheduled to be released on March 4.
Easton, a Los Angeles native, is managed by the talent agency McDonald Selznick Associates. Last year, he toured with Derek Hough. Easton expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am so honored and grateful to join such an amazing cast!! We’ve all been working so hard, and I can’t wait for you guys to see it! Thank you so much to the best team for making this all happen!"
A professional dancer with Royal Flux, a Los Angeles-based company, Easton was born on November 3, 2004. Hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, he dances at Rock Center. Growing up in the dance industry, Easton competed in various dance competitions, including 'World of Dance,' and has performed with Izzy Howard.
In an exclusive sneak peek clip, we see Easton performing his angular, aerodynamic set on 'Lose Control' by Teddy Swims. After his insightful performance, judges Allison Holker, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and Comfort Fedoke gave him a standing ovation.
"I'm gonna get up on that one," said Maksim. He was then followed by the other judges. Allison commented, "Wow, wow, amazing, beautiful."
Did Easton Magliarditi previously audition for 'SYTYCD'?
As Easton posted a slew of photos on Instagram ahead of his audition round on 'SYTYCD' Season 18, the dancer revealed that this won't be his first appearance on the FOX dancing show's set.
Easton uploaded a couple of photos, disclosing that he previously auditioned for the 'SYTYCD' Kids Season. In the caption, Easton wrote, "I'm seriously so excited for you all to see it! Also, the third slide is a throwback to when I auditioned for the kids' season of SYTYCD, and the last slide is me being the biggest fan of the show."
Was Easton Magliarditi also a contestant on 'AGT'?
Yes, Easton is reported to have previously appeared in 'America's Got Talent' Season 14, accompanied by Izzy Howard on the show. Back then, Easton was just 14 years old, and Izzy was 11.
The dance duo was eliminated in the Judge Cuts round. At that time, they revealed that they had been dancing together for five years. Their audition featured a contemporary dance routine that impressed all four judges, earning them a "yes" in the audition round. It remains to be seen whether Easton will manage to receive a "yes" from the 'SYTYCD' judges.
