‘sMothered’ Season 4: Fans bash Paula and Francia for walking around naked, say 'OMG I'm done'

‘I’m not about to walk naked around my mom', said a fan lashing out at the mother-daughter duo for their weird ritual

Finally after a long hiatus, the much loved and popular reality series ‘sMothered’ Season 4 has made its comeback on TLC. The show is loved for its unique approach that delves really deep into a mother and daughter’s relationship, which is a little more than usual. 

The official synopsis of 'sMothered' reads, “This season welcomes back four fan-favorite mother-daughter duos and introduces three new pairings. From bathwater to bedrooms to boyfriends, these twosomes have shared everything and with beautiful babies being welcomed into the mix, a new legacy ensues - grand-smothering!.” Talking about the mother-daughter duos this season, one of the weirdest duos this time is Paula and her mother Francia.

In the first episode of season four of ‘sMothered', audiences saw the new mother-daughter duo of Paula and Francia. This duo does everything together right from being naked together to even partying and pooping together. The duo claimed that they both are totally inseparable and just attached at the hip and opened up on how they’ve been closer to each other right from childhood.

Whilst Paula has opened up on their bonding in the episode, she introduced herself and said, “I am Paula. I am 27 years old. In a perfect world, I would spend all the hours in a day with my mom. Naked and in the bed.”

We see how Paula, who is naked, comes with two glasses of juice for her mom and herself and wishes her good morning. Then Francia, introducing herself and talking about the rapport with her daughter, said, “I am Francia. 46 years old and mother of this wonderful kid Paula. There’s no another person that I have fun with than with my own daughter.”

On this Paula added, “Literally sometimes I ask her. Are we really weird? She’s always been the cool mom since we have so much fun.”

After watching this episode, fans didn’t in particular like the fact that this duo is practically naked next to each other every day in their house. They ended up turning Twitter into a live tweet fest and shared their honest reactions on the same. Many of them added how they’d never be naked even around their mom and that this is a bit too much.

“This woman just stated that if she could, she’d spend all day in bed and naked with her mom. They even poop together. OMG…I’m done. #smothered,” said a fan. “You shouldn't walk around your mom naked as an adult that is weird. Lmao did they push Dawn in the pool. Angelica is still with that cat man. Carlos is the only real man on that show #smothered,” added a fan. “I don't think my mom would allow my ass to walk around naked in front of her!!! #smothered,” a fan shared. “I spend every night w my mom. That would end immediately if she walked around naked. #smothered,” another fan added. “I'm not walking naked around my mom and my mom is not about to walk naked around me. #smothered,” shared another fan."

'sMothered' season 4 airs every Tuesday at 9 PM ET on TLC.
