'Sistas' Season 2 Premiere: Zac and Karen's narrative annoys fans as they call him 'h*e' and ask her to move on
Spoilers for 'Sistas' Season 2 Episode 1 'The Lonely Road'
The second season premiere of 'Sistas' on BET has been highly anticipated for a while now. Fans were ready for this two-hour episode premiere, and while Andrea 'Andi' Barnes (Kj Smith) and Gary Marshall Borders (Chido Nwokocha) seemed to be at the center of things, fans were also "annoyed" with the whole Zac (Devale Ellis) and Karen Mott (Ebony Obsidian) plotline.
Karen picks up Zac after he's discharged from the hospital after being treated for his stab wound. Although he apologizes for being rude to her, he drops "I love you" quite a few times in the episode and fans had the same reaction that we had, "No, not again." It seems as though while Karen cares for Zac, he's not ready to be there for her fully and fans are tired of it.
"I’m actually not about to sit through another season of this stupid a** struggle love narrative between Karen and Zack. If Karen doesn’t move tf on from this no good, lying, cheating bum, by episode 3, I’m actually not going to watch this s**t. #SistasOnBET," wrote one fan. Another added, "Zac and karen confusing asl.. #SistasOnBET."

When the duo goes back to Karen's house, the scene of the crime, to get her phone, we find out two things. Zac is still a player, and the police might be treating the case as a homicide. In fact, when Zac went into the house because Karen was a bit freaked out, he ends up flirting with the cop.
"Zac got a wound, just kissed Karen, flirting with a cop. Maaan. A dude will find time to do what he wants to do. #SistasOnBET," wrote another fan. Later, when Zac decides to stay back for Karen's phone, the cop who is clearly interested in him called Karen cute, but Zac was dismissive and fans weren't having it. "Zac a bum man and a hoe lol #SistasOnBET," wrote another fan. Another fan added, "The female office called Karen cute and this nut Zac gon say, “She aight, she aight.” #SistasOnBET Can’t stand him!"

Fans warned Zac that if he loves Karen and wants her to be his girlfriend for real, he can't be acting this way. "Zac... be careful, beloved. #SistasOnBET if you want Karen back you know NOT to do," wrote one fan. "AHT AHT I know Zac didn’t just say Karen was “ight.” to Ms. Officer. Sir I’m rooting for you, you better not mess up AGAIN. #SistasOnBET," wrote another fan. "Karen move on from Zac.... I wouldn’t take anything slow.. #SistasOnBET," another fan said.
