The comedy-drama series 'Sistas' was, written, produced and directed by Tyler Perry. Having debuted last year in October, the second season of the series was announced by Perry in July 2020. Wednesday, October 14, 2020, was set as the premiere date of Season 2. The series chronicles the life of a group of Black women who is close-knit as they share one similar aspect of their lives - they are all single. Audiences are given a hilarious and dramatic look into how these women weave through their careers and friendships while living in a world that's obsessed with the relationships. Here is the wonderful cast that brings the Comedy TV series to life.

KJ Smith as Andrea 'Andi' Barnes

Smith is known for her roles as Beth in 'Lethal Weapon' (2018), Charlie in 'The Fix' (2019), Kori Rucks in 'Dynasty' (2017), Linda in 'Black-ish' (2018) and Chelsea Parker in 'NCIS: Los Angeles' (2018). The actress's most recent works include 'I Left My Girlfriend for Regina Jones' (2019), '#BlackAF' (2020), 'The Family Business' (2019-2020), 'Fatal Affair' (2020) and 'The Available Wife' (2020). She has one release that's listed as completed and is titled 'Kevin Vs Josh' and a TV series in post-production titled 'Skinny Dip'.

Mignon Von as Daniella 'Danni' King

Von is known for her roles as Mara in '42 Seconds' (2018), in 'Sister Code' (2015) and as Kelsey in 'The Hidden Toll' (2016). Her recent works include 'Furthest From' (2019), 'Villa Pacific' (2018) and 'Waiting for Monday' (2019). She was also a production assistant for '4Closire' (2013), 'Dancing with the Stars: All Access' (2014), 'Sister Code' and 'The Hidden Toll'. The actress also has directing, writing and producer credits for '42 Seconds'.

Ebony Obsidian as Karen Mott

Obsidian is known for her roles as Adrieene Hunt in 'If Beale Street Could Talk' (2018), Michelle in 'Master of None' and Nia in 'Wu-Tang: An American Saga' (2019). Her most recent works include 'Swipe' (2019), 'Such A Deal' (2019), 'About the People' (2019), 'Hunters' (2020) and the completed production 'The Last Train Home'. The actress has won a January Award at the 2020 Independent Horror Movie Awards for Best Actress for 'Swipe' which she shared with Niels Bourgonje.

Novi Brown as Sabrina Hollins

Brown is known for her roles as Megan Mills in 'Sleeping with My Student' (2019) and a sales assistant in 'Under My Skin' (2020). Her recent works include 'Nightcall' (2019) and 'Baldwin Beauty' (2020). The actress has 3 releases in post-production - '30 Days To Kick Ass Love' (2020), 'Real Talk' and 'GoodBellas'. She is also filming a release titled 'Spider' where she plays the role of Roshanda James.

Chido Nwokocha as Gary Marshall Borders

Nwokocha is known for his roles as Nathan Woodward in 'Murder in the First' (2016), Greggs in 'The Night Shift' (2017) and a cop in 'Destroyer' (2018). His recent works include 'Days of Our Lives' (2018), 'The Rookie' (2019), 'Hawaii Five-0' (2020), 'Bad Therapy' (2020), and a release in post-production titled 'Wildcat'.

The rest of the cast includes Devale Ellis as Zac, Kevin A Walton as Aaron Carter, Anthony Dalton as Calvin Rodney, Brian Jordan Jr as Maurice, Crystal-Lee Naomi as Jasmine Borders, Michael King as Don Bellamy, Crystal Hayslett as Fatima, Keena Ferguson as Leslie Davenport, Trinity Whiteside as Preston Horace and many more. The official synopsis for the second season is: "This new season will pick up right where it left off, with Tyler Perry taking viewers on an exhilarating ride of emotions and gut-busting predicaments that will test the ladies’ long-standing friendship. This band of women, intertwined with their newfound relationships, must navigate this new-age dating scene as they continue to search for love in their 30s.”

'Sistas' Season 2 will premiere on BET Her on Wednesday, October 14, at 9/8c. The official trailer for Season 2 can be seen below:
