'Sistas' Season 2 Episode 6 Preview: Will Preston forgive Danni for overreacting? Here's why she is mad at him

Danni had been trying to call Preston for a while and also had recognized that she had overreacted but he wasn't picking up her calls or calling her back. Does he cut her off?

In the last episode, 'Up in Flames' we saw Andrea "Andi" Barnes (KJ Smith) be highly disrespected by her man Gary Marshall Borders (Chido Nwokocha), so when the synopsis for today's upcoming episode 'That Look' read that she tries "to move on and consider other men," boy, were we happy.

If you don't remember the scene, let's jog your memory — when Andi goes to meet Gary in prison, he brings up the fact that he's jealous that she's working with Hayden (Chris Warren), a lawyer. Andi asked Hayden to help Gary get out of jail, so you can understand the audacity that Gary has. In fact, we think they broke up, with the promo for the next episode (shown after the episode 'Up in Flames' aired) saw Andi on the phone telling one of her girlfriends, she's ready to move on.

We're hoping that Andi and Paris Jonhson (Sean Poolman) kick it off! What interests us more though is the Daniella "Danni" King (Mignon) and Preston Horace (Trinity Whiteside) storyline because we didn't see much of that in 'Up in Flames'. We saw Danni tell Sabrina Hollins (Novi Brown) what happened between her and Preston — it was the 'slave play' meltdown, where he handcuffed her to the bed.

Danni had been trying to call Preston for a while and also had recognized that she had overreacted but he wasn't picking up her calls or calling her back. This episode 'That Look' synopsis says that "Danni is angry at Preston," and we're wondering why she's mad at him. She has been pushing Preston away for a while now when all he's been doing is trying to be hers.

If she's mad at him, we can only assume that it's because he seems to want to cut her off after what went down between them. If you ask us, the way that Preston reacted to Danni's meltdown was absolutely fair. But, then again, there could be a twist, and maybe this episode he does pick up the phone and that leads to another fight? We wouldn't put it past Danni to have another fight — as we said, she always pushes him away. 

As for another set of relationship drama, it seems as though Karen Mott (Ebony Obsidian) and Zac (Devale Ellis) are on the edge of being over. Again, we're glad, because that struggle has been going on for way too long.

'That Look' says that "Zac meets someone new" and we know that's most likely Fatima (Crystal Hayslett) – or so we hope. They seem to have kicked it off really well with Fatima even bailing Zac out of jail. The promo for this upcoming episode even saw Fatima tell Zac that she wants to see him win. So there's more to their story, and we're happy to that unfold today.

The official synopsis reads, "Andi tries to move on and consider other men. Calvin needs a place to stay. Danni is angry at Preston. Zac meets someone new." The official Twitter account for the series has tweeted what we can expect in the upcoming episode. Watch it below.
