How many post-credit scenes does ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ have? Critics hint at ‘significant things’ to see

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Marvel Cinematic Universe's 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' was recently premiered for a selected audience on Monday, February 6, 2023, in Los Angeles. The invitees were a handful of well-known people from the entertainment industry, ranging from Variety editor Jazz Tangcay to Uproxx Publications' Senior Entertainment Writer, Mike Ryan. The early reactions of the critics were extremely intriguing, and the best part was the additional hype it created amongst Marvel fans who are eagerly waiting for the sequel to hit the theatres on February 17, 2023.

Marvel movies are a delight in themselves, but like a big cherry on top, it all comes together with the highly-anticipated post-credit scenes. The Marvel fans go gaga over these post-credit scenes, which are hidden away like easter eggs, and sit through the end credits. And it would be a shame if the upcoming Ant-Man sequel doesn't have any. But wait, that's not true, according to the critics invited to the special screening!

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has become infamous for its post-credit tags, which go all the way back to 'Iron Man' when Nick Fury uttered the words, "Avengers Initiative." Some post-credits scenes are essential to the movie as it progresses the plot for a smooth transition, like the aforementioned tag. The rest of the post-credit scenes in the movies are purely for entertainment purposes, like Spider-Man: Homecoming's Captain America PSA, or Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. But, in spite of all the silliness, it is worth watching the end credits. 

How many post-credit scenes are in 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania'?

Ashley Saunders, a well-known critic from Washington DC, teased on Twitter, "ANT-MAN AND THE WASP QUANTUMANIA is a VISUAL FEAST packed w/ SURPRISES (big & small). A WILD RIDE from start to finish. Jonathan Majors CONQUERS as Kang, the Dynasty is here. Paul Rudd is as lovable as ever & 2 Post Credit scenes!" giving the film a positive review and hinting at 2 post-credit scenes. 

'Best post-credits scenes to date'

In the special screening of the movie, many critics and editors were invited to review the movie. While many brought up the best performance by Jonathan Majors as Kang, a lot of the critics praised the overall execution of the sequel. To Ashley Saunders' tweet singing praises of the movie and announcement of the post-credit scene, a viewer chimed in with, "So many movies to catch up on but this one is at the top of the list."

More critics have taken to Twitter to talk about the film as well as the post-credit scenes after the special screening. Eric Davis tweeted, "Definitely make sure you stay for the credits because there are significant things to [see]. I really dug how #AntManAndTheWaspQuantumania is both a Part 1 of Phase 5, but also a self-contained #AntMan story that’s funny & sweet & features a kick-ass Michelle Pfeiffer. Good stuff," emphasizing the importance of the post-credit scenes. "#Quantumania #AntManAndTheWasp is joyous & juicy! Packed with humor. Ludicrous in the best possible way. Paul Rudd is at his absolute best. Entire cast gets their moment & delivers. Sticks the landing & overdelivers with 2 of the best post-credits scenes to date. Bravo JM & PR!" praised another critic, Nikki Novak. Tessa Smith of Mama's Geeky tweeted, "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is like Marvel meets Star Wars -- & I am here for it! Kang is absolutely terrifying. MODOK brings all the ridiculous humor. Janet & Kang are perfect! Heartwarming father-daughter story! 2 IMPORTANT end credits!"

"Quantumania will include one mid-credits scene, which plays after the animated title card sequence, and one end-credits scene, which is shown after all the black-background credits roll," The Direct stated.

Everything is speculation until 'Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania' hits the theatres on February 17, 2023. Enjoy its delectable trailer till then.
