LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: For many years, we have seen Thanos wreaking havoc on planet Earth and trying to accomplish his mission of reducing the world's population so that its resources are not depleted. But times have changed now and a new villain named 'Kang' is ready to change the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) forever with the upcoming movie 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quntumania'.

Viewers got to see a variant of Kang the Conquerer (Jonathan Majors) for the first time in the finale of 'Loki' Season 1. Since then, Kang has been touted as the next big villain in the MCU and we will see the character making a debut in the upcoming movie starring Paul Rudd as 'Ant-Man'.

'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quatumania' is the third movie in the 'Ant-Man' franchise and sees Scott Lang (Rudd) and Hope (Evangeline Lilly), along with Hope's parents, Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne, and Lang's daughter, Cassie, accidentally going on a new adventure exploring the Quantum Realm. However, things go downhill when they get to know about a man who has been trapped inside the quantum realm and needs Pym Particles to get to his ship.

When will 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' be released?

The third movie in the 'Ant-Man' franchise and the 31st film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is scheduled to have its world premiere on Monday, February 6, in Los Angeles and will be released in theatres on Friday, February 17.

This will be the first film of Phase 5 of the MCU.

What is the plot of 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania'?

The official synopsis reads, "Super Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and The Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible."

Who stars in the upcoming Marvel movie?

Paul Rudd returns as Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man, and Evangeline Lilly also reprises the role of Hope, aka Wasp, in the upcoming movie. On the other hand, Jonathan Majors will be seen playing the role of Kang the Conquerer in 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania'.
