Why is 'Siesta Key' Season 4 Episode 5 not airing this week? Here's what to expect when it returns
'Siesta Key' is on a break and will return on June 16, Wednesday with Episode 5. Their time slot is being given up to accommodate an awards ceremony, which we'll learn more of in a bit.
Hopefully, the show will pick up from where it left. Aside from of course the brewing cold war between Jordana Barnes and Camilla Cattaneo, and Juliette Porter and Kelsey Owens' swimsuit drama. Honestly, these two storylines have been explored to their full capacity. The cast members need to look beyond petty fights.

Why is 'Siesta Key' Season 4 Episode 5 not airing this week?
The series is on a two-week break and no, it's not because it's on a mid-season break. The CMT Music Awards 2021, a fan-voted country music awards show from Nashville, will premiere during the slot reserved for the reality docu-series. To be hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown, the ceremony will feature star-studded performances by Thomas Rhett, Mickey Guyton, and Maren Morris among others.
"This dynamic duo reflects the show's revitalized energy as live music returns to center stage in a night filled with incredible outdoor performances, cross-genre collaborations and a few surprises," People quoted the awards' producers.
What to expect when the show returns?
Will Brandon Gomes and Cattaneo patch up? 'Siesta Key' thrives on complicated relationships and acing that department are Camilla Cattaneo and Brandon Gomes. They ended Season 3 with a shocker when the two announced their split and Gomes admitted to having cheated on her with Delainey Shae, his baby mama.
This time, the ex-couple is faced with newer problems as they make an effort to restore their feelings for each other. Gomes makes an effort to mend their relationship but unfortunately for him, Cattaneo closes herself up even more.

Naturally, this led to the fans thinking if there was a bigger issue at play. Talking to Amanda Miller and Porter, Cattaneo revealed that she was pregnant with Gomes' baby in February 2020. However, after they went to get her checked the doctor diagnosed her with an ectopic pregnancy. They had to follow it up with emergency surgery. Gomes and Cattaneo lost their baby in the process.
Chloe Trautman is most likely to leave the show, while Cara Geswelli will re-enter after a hiatus of sorts. This will ruffle feathers because Garrett Miller has moved on from Geswelli, and dating Makenna Quesenberry. How will the new entry impact the existing couple's dynamics? Only time will tell.
