Is Shuhua OK? (G)I-DLE member walks off stage mid-performance, fans say ‘get well soon’
The girl group (G)I-DLE is on a roll after the release of their last album, ‘I Never Die’, as well as the announcement of their upcoming US Concert. While members are completely booked and busy, it seems like the group still took some time off to perform for young fans at a college Spring Festival. On May 26, the girl group performed at the Korean University’s annual spring festival, ‘Ipselenti’. It seems like all was going well for (G)I-DLE as they opened their stage with performances of songs like ‘Latata’ and ‘Dumdi Dumdi’.
All (G)I-DLE members seemed to be able to handle performances with much ease except for Shuhua who seemed uncomfortable on stage as she suffered from intensive back pain. The member appeared breathless on stage as she tried to keep up with the rest of the group and was not able to match their pace but still tried. All five members performed the first two tracks together but after that was over, (G)I-DLE members informed fans and viewers that Shuhua had not been feeling well since before the appearance at the University.

Shuhua leaves the stage due to health complications
The members told fans that Shuhua would be taking some rest and will leaving the stage early but also stated that the remaining (G)I-DLE members, Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, and Yuqi will continue on for the performance as four members. After Shuhua had to exit the stage only after performing two out of their four-track lineup, Yuqi told fans that Shuhua would be missing from the remaining songs as she said, “Shuhua has been sick since this morning. But she still wanted to perform today, and so she did 2 songs, but it seems like she is not feeling well.”
Following that, Soyeon apologized for the sudden exit from Shuhua as she said, “We are very very sorry to all of you here today, but it looks like Shuhua will go down and get some rest, and the rest of us will continue the performance for you all.” After Shuhua exited the stage, the four members of (G)I-DLE continued to perform their most recent singles, ‘Tomboy’ and ‘My Bag’, both from their last mini-album, ‘I Never Die’. Shockingly after the two tracks were performed, Shuhua reappeared on stage and performed ‘Never Stop Me’ with her members surprising fans as well as her members as they all cheered her on to perform successfully.
Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE was going to hold their 2022 world tour titled ‘JUST ME ( )I-DLE’ aka (Just Me Idle) which will be their first-ever in-person concert in more than two years.
