LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After Jennifer Lopez's grandiose wedding with 'Batman' star, Ben Affleck, she'll be yet again seen as a bride but this time for a movie. 'Jenny from the Block' is going to star in the upcoming Amazon Prime movie. Lopez has been starring in wedding genre movies since 2001's 'The Wedding Planner' to 2022's 'Marry Me.' Seems like 'On the floor' singer doesn't want to put a pause on it. The romantic action comedy will also showcase quite a few big names of the same genre.

However, according to recent reports Jennifer Lopez claims she has been "just wearing that one dress, so plotting out everything that dress goes through was intense." She further said apparently it needed to be a big dress with so many layers to it. There was a certain feeling she wanted the dress to have in the beginning, of not being perfect for her character but perfect for the idea of a perfect wedding that she was trying to fit into. Regardless, read more to find out about Lopez's upcoming Prime movie.

'Shotgun Wedding,' however, will not be arriving in theaters.

The official synopsis of the film reads, "Tom (Josh Duhamel), Darcy (Jennifer Lopez) and their lovable but very opinionated families gather for an ultimate destination wedding. Just when the couple get cold feet, the wedding party is taken, hostage. The couple must work together to save their loved ones if they don't end up killing each other first."
