If the movie has Jennifer Lopez, then chemistry is a sure thing. 'Marry Me' is a movie is about two strangers who fall in love in a unique way. We all like and root for them and want them to get up and proclaim their love for each other in front of the global audience.

'Marry Me' is the romantic comedy from 'Girls5Eva' director Kat Coiro and writer Harper Dill, who have worked together to bring out one of the best romantic comedies to binge on. The movie revolves around Kat Valdez (Jennifer Lopez), a famous singer who is all set to marry her pop star boyfriend Bastian (Maluma) after her live stage show on an extensive tour. But she does not marry him because she learns that he was cheating on her with her assistant. On the verge of a panic attack, Kat takes a look in the audience and sees a regular math school teacher Charlie Gilbert (Owen Wilson) holding a board that says "Marry Me", and shockingly, she pulls him onto the stage to marry him, even though he is a stranger.

The incident could make Kat a laughing stock in front of the world and she doesn't want that. So offers a deal to Charlie, asking for a commitment to the relationship for six months and telling the press that they are using this time to get to know each other. In return, she promises Charlie that she would donate money to his school's math program. So, Charlie agrees with Kat.

The whole movie is pure comfort food. There are so many feel-good moments. For example, when Kat shows up at the math-club meeting and helps all the kids get over their stage fright by dancing. 'Marry Me' is not like those movies that lean more on the tension between the leads or them butting heads, it is about two good-looking strangers who are really enjoying each other's company, giggling together, and getting to know all the positive and negative sides of each other.

Every good romantic comedy needs a tense climax so that the final love confession can soar. Unfortunately, the breakdown in the movie is not lubricated and is remarkably smooth. The moment when Kat realizes that she is in love with Charlie and wants to be with him is the point that hits all the right notes even when the viewers can see it coming from miles away. 'Marry Me' does everything it promises and is a perfect rom-com to binge on again and again.
