'She Would Never Know' in episode 13 sees Hyun-seung (Ro Woon), and his sisters go through a conflict in each of their relationships. In fact, what's worse than Hyun-seung's position is that of his sister Yeon-seung, who doubts that her husband might be gay. The chef that she had befriended recently, who she had believed was her husband's only friend, turned out to have been interested in him romantically.

However, at the moment, Yeon-seung's husband is dead set on believing that he is not like his friend, that he is not gay. However, what Yeon-seung asks is why he would lead his friend on and what made him get closer to this man again after rejecting him when the two were in college together.

She also heard the chef refer to an incident that had occurred when the two were in college. An incident that her husband continually refers to as an accident. What Yeon-seung cannot understand is the reason he continues to be close with the chef. She believes that this is not only unfair to her but unfair to the chef as well as he may have hopes of being with her husband someday. She is also worried about how she can now move forward from this. At this time, she also ends up learning that her sister and brother have both been keeping secrets from her and that reminds her of what happened with her husband.

To avoid his wife from getting hurt any further, he agrees to give her a divorce and also agrees to any terms that she has. However, she refuses. She does ask him again. Is he gay? When he refutes the same, she says then there is no reason for them to file for divorce. While she is struggling with this, Hyun-seung's elder sister realizes that the man that she is dating is not only her brother Hyun-seung's boss but also the brother of Song-ah's former boyfriend's now ex-fiance. Jae-shin decided to live a free life, away from the shackles of fame and success after his father's death.

Since he did not consider Jae-woon his friend from the very beginning, he leaves everything behind. However, Jae-woon had seemed to consider Jae-shin his real friend, so he is deeply hurt and even promises to ruin Jae-shin. His sister Hyo-joo however finds it hard to give up on Jae-shin and this despite him telling her face to face that they are now over.

While all of this is unraveling, Song-ah (Won Jin-ah) receives an offer that she is not able to refuse the second time. Earlier, the offer came with a string that would connect her to Jae-shin again. This time, however, it really is an opportunity that she is tempted to consider seriously. She doesn't let Hyun-seung know however about any of this, and he finds out by mistake. Of course, he is angry and upset, but he tells her that he wants to think more about this. He also tells her that they shouldn't break up just because of this.

However, upon thinking of it further, Hyun-seung realizes that he doesn't have the confidence to let her stay so far away so early in their relationship and he asks her not to go. She, however, tells him that she wants to go, and now, the possibility is high that they might not make it to the end together and that there might be a break up on the horizon.

'She Would Never Know' is a tv adaptation of the webcomic 'Sunbae, Geu Lipstick Bareujimayo' which literally means 'Sunbae, Don't Put on That Lipstick' and it airs every Monday and Tuesday on JTBC. The show can be streamed on iQiyi.
