Secret Number's 'Fire Saturday' music video crosses 2 million views within 24 hours
K-pop group Secret Number has broken records by reaching 1 million views for a music video by a rookie group within six hours of its release. Secret Number is recording a new high only seventeen months after their debut. The group made its debut in May of 2020 with a five-member lineup. Two more members were added to the lineup, making them a seven-member group, ahead of their October 2021 comeback.
Secret Number has started captivating fans from all around the world as they have heralded a successful comeback. The music video for ‘Fire Saturday’, the lead track from their third single album of the same title, was released on October 27. In only 24 hours since the release of the music video for ‘Fire Saturday’, Secret Number recorded extraordinary results for a rookie group.

Following that, the group released ‘Got That Boom’ in November of 2020 and broke their own music video views record by getting 3.63 million views in under 24 hours. Almost a year after the release of that video, Secret Number released the music video for ‘Fire Saturday’ that did just as well.
The music video for ‘Fire Saturday’ that was released on October 27 first recorded more than 1 million views within six hours of its release. Not only that, in merely 24 hours since the release of the video, the song crossed 2.15 million views. Secret Number's video became the fastest to reach 1 million views on YouTube channel 1theK. With Secret Number achieving such a great feat for the channel, their popularity has only increased.
‘Fire Saturday’ charts and sales
‘Fire Saturday’ has not only been doing well in terms of music video, but also doing well on charts. The song rose to the top on the Indonesian iTunes Song Chart right after its release. The b-side song on the single album, titled ‘Dangerous In Love’, also took the top spot on the same chart drawing a lot of attention on iTunes. The song from Secret Number also entered the Top 100 chart on domestic music chart Bugs, while the music video also trended on Indonesian charts.
Album ‘Fire Saturday’ has sold 2,850 copies in the first two days since its release, totaling more in terms of sales in comparison to their contemporaries Aespa on Hanteo, South Korea's local charts. Fans of the group are celebrating the achievements as it is considered a big deal for a comparatively newer group from a small agency.
