Netflix is set to release the animated series 'Scott Pilgrim' with Edgar Wright, Bryan Lee O’Malley, and Ben David Grabinski as the executive producers and Science Saru as the animator. The movie 'Scott Pilgrim vs the World' was released in 2010 and after a decade, fans are finally getting a new chapter with their beloved characters.

'Scott Pilgrim vs the World' is a 2010 romantic comedy film that is based on the graphic novel 'Scott Pilgrim' by Bryan Lee O'Malley. The movie follows the journey of Scott Pilgrim, an aspiring yet idle musician, who tries to win a competition and restore balance to his chaotic personal life. Scott Pilgrim is pushed into a situation to fight off not one, not two, but seven exes of his current girlfriend, Ramona Flowers. Though the film bombed at the box office at the time of its release, the humour and the style (the movie used a combination of video game and comic-book imagery) slowly found its audience over time, making the movie a cult classic. Now the announcement of the anime with the original cast has opened up the doors for both old fans and the newer audience to enjoy the characters and to witness several new chapters.
