Peacock released 10 episodes of 'Saved By The Bell' reboot/sequel/revival (whatever you'd like to call it) and while many '90s kids were anticipating it, let's just say that it didn't go over so well. If you've watched it, you'd understand how terrible it actually is. It's really depressing for the people that grew up watching the original series from 1989 to 1993. Many people watched the Peacock series overnight after it released on November 25, 2020, and they had one simple advice — don't watch it. "Woooooow the Saved By The Bell reboot is even worse than I imagined. This is so bad. How do you completely miss the mark on tone like this??? It's unwatchable," wrote one user. Another added, "I regret to inform you as bad as you think the saved by the bell reboot is, it’s worse" Yet another user added, "The Saved By The Bell reboot is f*****g terrible. Holy hell it’s unbearably bad".

While the series is diverse in its cast and brought issues such as racism, homophobia, socio-economic unfairness, and many others, it shouldn't have been called a reboot for any reason — it should have been a completely different show. Even the fact that some of the original cast returned couldn't save it. "Recommendation — if you need to watch something that’s straight up stupid.... The Saved by the Bell reboot is on @peacockTV. And girl, it’s so dumb and I can’t stop laughing," wrote one user. Another added, "I know the original Saved by the Bell was over the top with the stereotypes with nerds, jocks another high school caricatures but man, this reboot takes that to a whole other level. This new series is garbage. So bad."

Another fan of the original series tweeted, "Bro, Saved By The Bell(the new one) is so so bad." Others took a dig at the acting, with one user tweeting, "Watched 2 episodes of the new saved by the bell. Terrible acting but great writing." Another said, ""my honest opinion on the saved by the bell reboot is i was very disappointed. the theme song was trash. so many characters lacked development and the ending was very underwhelming. i feel like they tried to hard to be woke and it wasn't cute and some of the acting solid 6/10". One user concluded, "This new Saved by the Bell is bad. Like REALLY bad."

What makes it even worse, some fans were only watching it because it was actually that bad, that to some it could be addicting. "I watched 'Saved by the Bell' in its original run. Yes, it was stupid. Yes, I loved it. The 'Saved by the Bell' reboot is also stupid. Also, I am loving every minute of it!!!" wrote another user. Another user added, "Saved by the bell the roboot. Is SOOOOO DRAMATICAL AND WROTE LIKE HOW THEY ACTED (the OG’s) when we watched it. I’m not going to lie... I’m hooked because it’s so bad."
