MIAMI, FLORIDA: Who could forget the turmoil between Guerdy Abraira and Larsa Pippen on the current season of 'The Real Housewives of Miami', especially given the former's fight with cancer?

Things took a completely unexpected turn, with most viewers ending up rooting for Russell Abraira, who came to defend his wife and demand "respect" from her co-star in the Season 6 finale.

In the episode aired on Wednesday, February 21, Guerdy delved into Larsa's season-long actions, emphasizing the phrase "fake tears." Larsa responded, "I can't win with you," as Guerdy pressed her on her behavior.

Larsa brought up the incident involving a bite, and Guerdy appeared amused by the mention. The debate was gaining traction among other partygoers.

Larsa told cameras that she believed Guerdy was "always looking for a reason to be mad" at her. Dr Nicole Martin privately criticized Larsa's conversation with Guerdy, advising her to "dial it back a little bit," given all Guerdy was going through.

The disagreement quickly descended into incoherent chaos, leaving Russell glancing on with evident frustration.

Kiki Barth had just gone to the restroom and stated, "I can’t leave these ladies by themselves for two seconds." Guerdy questioned Larsa why she brought up the bite, and Larsa said that her arm hurt when they returned from the excursion.

Guerdy cried false tears and remarked, "Aww." Larsa said that she was "a victim here too. I’m sick too." Lisa Hochstein quickly arrived and attempted to talk Guerdy down.

Lisa claimed that any discussion of the bite was a joke. Guerdy was not having it. Guerdy reminded everyone that she had a blood test the next day. Larsa cried, saying that she was sorry and that it was not her fault.

Guerdy stated that a friend who cared about her would not behave like Larsa. Guerdy then removed her hat and wig to disclose what she had been up to earlier in the day.

As Guerdy proceeded to assault Larsa, the latter exclaimed that she would leave and never speak to Guerdy again because she was "wrong." That's when Russell stepped in. He questioned Guerdy, "Why are you dealing with this?" implying that she was above the squabble.

Larsa yelled for Russell to take his wife, but he continually shut her down, simply stating, "Be respectful." Larsa, as usual, lacking self-awareness, said, "I'm being respectful!"

Guerdy and Russell went away. Russell said, "You can't do that sh*t in front of me."

Fans took to X, to hail the Bravo husband, writing, "Yassssssssss Russell!!!!!!!! You better defend your Queen against this inflated ass BIRD." Another user chimed in, "Russell ready to respectfully disrespect Larsa and I'm here for it."  

One user wrote, "Russell was not with the shit & was about to tell the busted BBL bandit what she could do. I really can’t stand Larsa and Russell is a good man!" A fourth person added, "Russell ate Larsa up with no crumbs. Okay king, defend your wife." 

Some noted, "Russell was literally itching to cuss Larsa out." "I know Larsa is NOT yelling at Russell!!! Doesn’t she know we will…," added another.

Russell Abraira helps 'RHOM' star Guerdy shave off head

It was time for Guerdy to take the next stage in her cancer treatment. As part of her preparation for chemotherapy, the gorgeous event planner opted to shave her head.

Despite having her hair braided and set to be trimmed, she remained nervous, hoping there would still be a shadow.

For Guerdy, shaving her head symbolized a sense of control, and it felt only fitting that Russell would be there to assist her in this moment. Guerdy praised him for always being present.

With tears in her eyes, Guerdy began dismantling braid after braid. Russell took charge, completing the task by braiding the hair in the back before using an electric razor.

Guerdy couldn't help but suspect Russell was lying, but Russell insisted he knew it would look nice. "You're very beautiful," Russell assured her. "It doesn’t look bad at all. Trust me."

Russell is a firefighter—a chief, in fact—for the city of Miami. According to Guerdy, his routine is 24 hours on and 48 hours off. Guerdy and Russell have two children, boys Miles and Liam.

During the Wednesday episode, Guerdy voiced her displeasure that her "friend" had exposed her cancer to the group. Furthermore, Larsa described how Guerdy bit her during the Mexico vacation, which quickly made headlines and turned into unneeded controversy.

She chastised Larsa for "sensationalizing" the incident. Guerdy was especially irritated since everything appeared to be going well between her and Larsa throughout the vacation to Mexico, particularly at church.

Nicole summarized their development as "one step forward … seven steps back." Guerdy stated that she will "continue to have an issue until [Larsa] f*****g understands her place."

Part 1 of 'The Real Housewives of Miami' Season 6 reunion premieres on Bravo on Wednesday, February 28 at 9/8c. The second part of the reunion will air on Bravo on Thursday, February 29 at 8/7c.

The reunion will finish with Part 3 on Thursday, March 7, at 8/7c on Bravo.

The episodes will be available for streaming uncensored the following day on Peacock.
