The 'Real Housewives of Miami' star and her high school sweetheart Russell just hit a personal milestone as they completed 21 years of marriage. Guerdy took to her Instagram page to share her happiness on the pair's special day.
Guerdy started by writing, "Bonnie to his Clyde… HAPPY 21 YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY my love! Met you 28 years ago, and from that day forth, I knew that my life would change forever in the best way."
She went on to say, "Thanks for riding this long ride with me and holding on for dear life through the ups and downs. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ #guerdyandrussell #rhom #guerdyabraira"
The reality TV star and her partner Russell met each other for the first time when they were sophomores in high school. However, they didn't begin dating until they were in their senior year.

When did Guerdy Abraira and Russell get married?
Guerdy and Russell tied the knot in the year 2002. The two lovebirds exchanged their vows on November 16, 2002, at St Bernard de Clairvaux monastery in North Miami Beach. At that time, she was only 25 years old.
On the big day, the star born in Haiti adorned herself in a simple strapless white dress featuring a fitted bodice and an A-line skirt.
She complemented her look with a sleek hairstyle, diamond earrings, a shiny necklace, and a classic veil. Russell, on the other hand, opted for a traditional classic tuxedo.
While having a chat with People magazine, Guerdy talked about her dress for the 120-person event and said, "I actually modified it a little bit for the ceremony and added a strap that I took off before the reception."
She further added, "I wanted a classic and timeless look — but I also wanted to be able to move around later on the dance floor!"
Russell told the publication that watching Guerdy walk down the aisle for the first time was his favorite memory of the day.
He said, "I'm not that much of an emotional person. But when I saw her walking down the aisle, I started to cry. Tears were coming and it really surprised me. I didn't think I was going to do that."

In an interview with People magazine at BravoCon 2023, Guerdy disclosed that she is now cancer-free.
The television personality said, "I'm cancer-free, officially. I'm about to ring the radiation bell on Wednesday, so that's exciting as well. ... I'm very excited and I'm so blessed."
She continued, "I literally wake up every morning counting my blessings and making it count. Remember that, make it count."
Guerdy reflected on the moment she received the uplifting news, recalling that she was "living it up" in St Barts one day and found herself "sobbing" the next day after receiving the life-changing call.
She remarked, "That's what life is. It's ups and downs. You never know when you're gonna go down, and you never know when you're gonna go up. And today is my up day."
The mom of two added, "My up life is now, back to normal-ish. And I wanna keep it that way."
