In September 2022, Kim Kardashian spilled the beans on climate change amid her private jet backlash while having a chat with Interview magazine for their "American Dream" cover story.

“So far this year, Kim’s jet emitted 4268.5 tonnes of carbon emissions over 57 flights: 609.8 times more than the average person emits in a year. Kim’s jet has an average flight time of 85.49 minutes, for an average journey length of 99.78 miles," the firm's findings read.

However, according to a report by the Tab, the reality TV star may not actually be the primary culprit when it comes to contributing to climate change.
According to a study conducted by sustainability-focused marketing firm Yard, they analyzed the usage of A-list celebrities' private jets and found that Jenner didn't even rank in the top 10 for celebrities who have accumulated the highest amount of carbon dioxide emissions from their private jet travel that year.
This data highlighted the significant environmental impact of private jet usage by celebrities and shed light on the need for more sustainable transportation choices in the entertainment industry.
The results proved that Taylor's usage of private jets in 2022 resulted in the release of a significant amount of carbon emissions, specifically measuring 8,293.54 metric tons. As a consequence, she secured the top position on the list in terms of carbon footprint.
According to the report, even during periods when she is not on tour, her typical duration of a flight remains consistent at 80 minutes, covering an average distance of 139.36 miles per flight.
On the other hand, Jenner's flight time of 24.5 minutes was shorter than both her boyfriend Travis Scott's and her sister Kim Kardashian's flight times, as ranked on Yard's list.
