'RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars': Did favoritism cause Kitty Scott-Claus's glamorous act to lose top spot?
CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA: 'RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars' Season 1 judges RuPaul Charles, Michelle Visage, and Jamal Sims awarded the top spot to Alyssa Edwards and Kween Kong. However, the judges seemed to ignore the glamorous act of Kitty Scott-Claus.
The Paramount+ show judges appeared to promote favouritism on the global stage by awarding Alyssa the top spot. Alyssa definitely nailed the 'Eden of Garden' theme fashion show but her performance was not worthy to earn top spot. Kitty was more deserving because both her performances were entertaining, error-free and glamorous which was required to be on top.
Additionally, Kitty notably looked fierce in a pink outfit and her stunning dance moves elevated her performance. Meanwhile, Alyssa has performed in front of RuPaul multiple times and they also knew each other very well which seemed to be enough reason to favoring her.

'RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars' contestants Alyssa Edwards and Kween Kong bagged the top 2 spots after they competed in a series of competitions in the premiere episode. For the final challenge, Alyssa and Kween had to lip-sync a song without losing glamour and any mistakes.
However, both Alyssa and Kween nailed the lip-sync challenge and claimed the shared win. The contestants would now share the cash tip of $10,000 equally.

During the premiere episode, Kitty Scott-Claus announced in the confessional that she graced the global stage just to win the crown. She said, "I'm back again to win the crown and the hearts of the world, being Killy... keeping it camp, keeping it glamour and having fun with it."
However, during the Q&A premiere session, the judges asked Kitty a math question and she had a hilarious response. The Paramount+ show judges asked, "If you start makeup at 7 pm for a 10 pm gig, How late you'll be and why?" Kitty pretended to be counting the hours on her fingers and then answered, "12 inches," leaving the judges to laugh.
