ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA: Kween Kong is all set to grace the stage of 'RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars' Season 1. Kween hails from Adelaide, Australia and is a professional dancer and choreographer. She is also popular for her electrifying performances and Tongan-Samoan heritage.
Kween is the leader of the Haus of Kong and is passionate about activism. However, she has recently included her name in history and became the first drag performer to earn a Logie nomination in 2023. She was thrilled about the huge achievement and reflected her excitement on social media.
However, Kween was widely criticized for earning a nomination but she decided to clap back at critics. She shared a stunning photo of herself and penned in the caption, "So much so that you feel like you can say the most hateful things to me and my community. Daily I’ve had messages, comments, DMS from people threatening me, my family."
The MTV show star added, "Accusing me and my community of trying to groom their children. I ignore it because your hatred has nothing to do with us." She further noted, "But what I will say is this, DRAG DESERVES TO BE RECOGNISED! We are excellent, we are talented, we lead with love and we deserve this fucking seat at the table. You don’t like it? Don’t buy a ticket. PERIODT!"
Will Kween Kong break 'RuPaul's Drag Race' winning record?
'RuPaul's Drag Race' star Kween Kong aims to use her creative passion to win the crown. She has broken multiple records in the MTV show history and is ready to break another one. Kween is the first performer to earn the winning crown thrice in 'Drag Race Down Under' history, with Hannah Conda and Spankie Jackzon.
Kween is also the first queen of Samoan descent to compete in the Drag Race franchise. However, she hopes to soon become the first queen to win 'RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars'. Additionally, Kween was the second drag queen to portray NeNe Leakes on 'Snatch Game' Season 9 of the US version after Peppermint.

'RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars' star Kween Kong has recently suffered a serious health scare. Although she did not reveal her disease, she did provide an update on her health. Kween shared, "Going through what I’ve been through with my health has been scary but a blessing in disguise."
She further revealed that she was proud of herself for listening to her body and giving herself to heal. She was also proud of noticing who was actually her friend and 'let go of the people who have leached on to me.' She added, "It’s crazy how you can miss warnings or how off you really are when you’re busy giving your light and energy to people who expect it and don’t reciprocate."
