One of the popular and fan-favorite shows on HGTV is 'Fixer to Fabulous', and why wouldn't it be? The series follows married couple Jenny and Dave Marrs as they completely renew old homes in Northwest Arkansas. Get this; they manage to follow their passion whilst raising five children and also running their very own blueberry farm! A pair of hustlers, no doubt.

Jenny has a keen eye for detail and design. This coupled with Dave’s handy craftsmanship and contracting background makes for their ideal business plan in itself! With their best strengths at hand, the couple has worked on the restoration of over 300 homes together. Aside from their main field of work, and managing their local business Marrs Developing, the two are very passionate about several causes including community transformation, and orphan care.

Dave was offered a job in 2002 at Newell Brands' Rubbermaid, right after graduating from college. Little did he know that this is where he'd meet his soulmate and business partner, Jenny, who worked in a different department.

After quitting his job at the company in 2004, Dave decided to move to Arkansas, in order to pursue building and construction. Turns out this was his underlying passion since he grew up building log cabins in Colorado with his dad.

After the couple made the move to Arkansas, Dave brainstormed and started his own construction company, called Marrs Developing. This was at a time when Jenny was pursuing a career in marketing and sales. Even still, she'd manage to pitch in as many ideas and money as she could on the design front, which kickstarted her interest in the field. Fun fact; Jenny has no official background in design, she had a degree in marketing and public relations in college! Still, the woman absolutely loved getting in touch with her creative side, and so, Marrs Developing seemed like the perfect place to start.

In 2012, eight years after Jenny and Dave launched Marrs Developing, she officially left her corporate life for good and joined Dave full-time at their company. What's better than working with your business and life partner?

Season 3 of 'Rock the Block' premieres on February 28, 2022, on HGTV.
