Featuring Zac Efron, Jermaine Fowler, Andrew Santino, and John Cena in key roles, the film provides a comedic experience within a runtime of 1 hour and 54 minutes.

Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, 'Ricky Stanicky' has won over audiences with its lighthearted tone, well-timed humor, and standout performances.

It is John Cena in the titular character whose remarkable performance has stolen all the attention.

What is the plot of 'Ricky Stanicky'?

The movie follows three friends, Dean (Zac Efron), JT (Andrew Santino), and Wes (Jermaine Fowler), as they invent a fictional scapegoat named Ricky Stanicky to take the fall for their misdeeds spanning two decades.

As suspicions arise from their partners, they opt to hire a washed-up actor to embody and bring their imaginary creation to life.

The official synopsis reads, "When three childhood friends pull a prank gone wrong, they invent the imaginary Ricky Stanicky to get them out of trouble! Twenty years later, they still use the nonexistent Ricky as an alibi for their immature behavior."

"When their families get suspicious and demand to meet the fabled Mr. Stanicky, the guilty trio decide to hire a washed-up actor and celebrity impersonator to bring him to life," it further reads.
