The high voltage semi finale episode of '60 Days In' aired tonight (April 9). It saw the exit of a lousy and petty correctional officer, Richardson from the women's pod of Etowah Country Jail.

Back at the men's pod, undercover correctional officer Tony who has been notoriously cocky is raring to take it a notch higher with his antics.

With just a few days left in jail, he wanted to test each and every aspect of the jail and was particularly looking to push all the buttons of CO Jamichael who according to him didn't deserve to be there. Tony had observed him sleeping and snoring on his desk and decided he was going to go after the CO.

It all started when inmate Ashley Caswell threw something at correctional officer Richardson's face. The CO tried to contain her for the misbehavior and that resulted in Ashley throwing things around in the common area and male COs had to intervene later to stop her from causing further damage.

The next day, Caswell was again seen throwing stuff around the common area when Richardson was on duty and the latter again had to seek help from her male counterparts to stop the event from turning violent.

Richardson seemed to have had enough of Caswell and it was clear that she was looking for revenge and she along with the jail trustees (jail trustees are someone awaiting sentence for a non-violent crime) plotted to get back at Caswell.

At dinner time, the trustees popped open the door to an unsuspecting Caswell's cell and beat her up. It didn't stop at that, they also threw bleach over her and splashed her mattress and her entire cell with Kool-Aid.

After the incident, male officers came in again and instead of questioning the trustees, they pinned Caswell to the floor who was enraged after the incident and forced her inside her Kool-Aid strewn cell. Undercover CO Heather was really upset that Richardson plotted all of this.

She was heard telling the producers that she was always proud of her profession but now being at this jail she could see why people hate law enforcement officers. She broke down in tears and mentioned that she's embarrassed being a correctional officer and the fact that Richardson is not arrested yet for what she's done is concerning.

Later in the episode, Richardson was fired from the job. On her way out, she was in tears and was heard saying that she was just doing her job and doing exactly what she was trained for.

In the male pod, Tony was trying his best to egg CO Jamichael into a confrontation but the man was cool as a button and just wouldn't budge. He knew Tony was playing with him and he kept his cool. Tony, however, decided to keep it going and Jamichael made a call and had Tony sent to solitary confinement in handcuffs.

'60 Days In' airs on Thursday nights on A&E.
