'RHOSLC' fans dubbed Heather Gay’s blind loyalty to Jen Shah as 'desperate and embarrassing'

There's no denying that loyalty is a very valuable trait to possess, and 'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' star Heather Gay has it in spades. The OG housewife has time and again displayed to the world how she's a 'ride or die' friend to everybody including Jen Shah. Despite knowing about Heather's allegiance to Jen, fans were still left feeling shocked and surprised when the housewife declared that she was going to continue supporting and be by Jen's side whether she was found guilty or not.

Jen and her assistant Stuart Smith have been charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and also a conspiracy to commit money laundering. During the show's reunion, Andy Cohen asked the ladies how many of them believed that Jen was guilty, Lisa Barlow stepped in and declared that Jen was innocent. Heather too followed Lisa's footsteps but added that irrespective of whether Jen was found guilty or not, she would still be by her friend's side and support her all the way.

When fans heard Heather's statement they began slamming her for her 'blind loyalty' and her utter disregard toward Jen's alleged victims. A fan tweeted, "Heather saying she doesn't care if Jen is guilty concerns me. These are SERIOUS accusations. #RHOSLC." Another fan wrote, "So Heather is all in for Jen no matter how many victims there allegedly were…? @BravoTV #rhoslc." "That says a lot. So @heathergay29 doesn’t care if #jenshah scammed grandparents out of their retirement funds and left them with nothing. Good to know. #unfollowHeatherGay And I’m not even saying Jen is guilty. This is about Heather. #RHOSLC #rhoslcreunion," pointed out a fan. 

Fans also mocked Heather's blind allegiance to Jen. A fan shared, "Heather may have left the Mormon church. But she definitely worships at the church of Jen Shah. #RHOSLC." "Heather defending Jen the way she does makes me dislike her #rhoslc," expressed a fan. "Why is Heather so up Jen’s ass #RHOSLC," wondered a fan. "Jen acted like there isn’t a federal fraud case against her and the women randomly decided to question how she has so much money. the silence was deafening when Andy asked them if they think Jen is guilty. and Heather’s blind loyalty is desperate and embarrassing #RHOSLC," commented a fan.
