'RHOP' Season 8: Robyn Dixon fires back as Karen Huger accuses co-star of dividing cast amid Juan Dixon cheating rumors
AUSTIN, TEXAS: 'The Real Housewives of Potomac' star Robyn Dixon had her own 'crucify me' moment.
The ensemble gathers in Austin, Texas, for what appears to be an unplanned intervention with Robyn in Bravo's sneak peek at the December 10 all-new episode. Some of the ladies are still furious with Robyn for what they perceive as deception over the previous year. Robyn failed to bring her husband, Juan Dixon's, alleged adultery to the group and, consequently, to the program.
She opted to speak out about the accusations on her 'Reasonably Shady' podcast with castmate Gizelle Bryant only after Season 7 of 'RHOP' concluded production.
"Honestly, there's a whole group of friends over here who don't know what you're going through," Karen Huger says to Robyn. "You selectively speak to one pocket of the friendship circle, OK?"
"That's true," Candiace Dillard Bassett adds, as Robyn nods in agreement, sitting next to said pocket, Gizelle, and Ashley Darby.
"And in doing so, you certainly divide the group," Karen adds. "So, Robyn, I'm asking you directly: how are you doing?"
"First of all, what I've experienced personally is not dividing the group," Robyn says. "I speak to the people who actually reach out to me and say, 'I'm sorry you're going through this, are you OK?'"
"So when I reached out to you, you ignored me..."
Candiace interjects as a screenshot of a text she wrote to Robyn two days after Juan was sacked as a basketball coach appears on the screen.
His firing was unrelated to the cheating allegations, although it happened around the same time during an inquiry at the university into whether Juan covered up sexual misbehavior by an assistant coach. Juan has repeatedly denied any misconduct.
"Whatever else aside, I am sorry this is happening to you," Candiace wrote. "I'm sorry this is happening to your family."
"Are you serious?!" Robyn responds. "After you've trashed me on social media incessantly?!"
Candiace was Robyn's most vocal critic in the days after she revealed Juan's alleged misdeeds, even demanding that her buddy be dismissed from the program.
"Really?!" Robyn inquires. "Do you know what I've gone through? I've gone through f**king torture."
"So have I," Candiace admits.
"Yes, Robyn, at your expense," Karen voices. "Because of you hiding your truth."

"If I didn't tell my momma what happened, why the f**k would I walk in front of any of y'all?!" Robyn screams.
"Robyn!" Karen begs. "You need to be accountable."
"Well, what do you want to do?" Robyn inquires, flinging her hands in the air before rising to her feet.
"You want to f**king beat me up or something?" she says, arms crossed in the air. "What do you want to do? Hold me accountable. I'm here! I'm here!"
"I want you to hold yourself accountable," Karen says as Robyn repeats the words "I'm here!" again.
"Hold me accountable!" As Candiace wipes away tears with one of her characteristic cry-angles, Robyn says to no one and everyone.
"You lied the entire year," Karen says. "And you asked all of us to be quiet."
Robyn Dixon accuses 'RHOP' co-stars of 'piling on' on her
Fans will have to wait and see where things go from here, but this is also the journey where Robyn sobs and wonders how she became the 'villain' in this scenario.
"It just became a pile-on," she told ET at BravoCon.
"I think I handled myself as true to myself as I could. I walked into the situation knowing that all eyes were going to be on me, all attention was going to be on me, and I was open to that, and I think I handled myself very well. As best I can."
Robyn Dixon believes filming 'RHOP' with Juan Dixon ‘brought us together’
Robyn understands the challenges of filming her relationship with her husband, Juan.
"It's been hard because I understand why we do the things that we do," Robyn remarked at the 'RHOP' event at BravoCon in Las Vegas.
"Juan and I started dating when were 17. We're not only best friends, [our] lives were very intertwined," said Robyn.
According to the reality star, she and Juan's "relationship is very different from what is captured."
“It’s been hard for people not understanding the depth of our relationship,” she added. “The show brought us together because of all the scrutiny. So we were forced to really have each other’s back.”
'The Real Housewives of Potomac' Season 8 airs Sundays at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo. The episodes will be available on Peacock the following day.
