CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: The 'Real Housewives of New York City' star Bethenny Frankel is currently exploring Chicago and has recently experienced an embarrassing moment at Chanel. She was denied entry at one of the company's high-end boutiques. However, Frankel stylishly criticized Chanel's 'big mistake.'
Frankel took to her Instagram and revealed that she wasn't let in to shop because a staff member told her she had failed to book an appointment at the location. She shared, "I'm like, 'No, I don't have an appointment. I have a credit card. I have a bag of Garrett's popcorn, a basic bitch purse. Am I not allowed to come in at 3.54 on a Tuesday?' Evidently not."
Frankel also noted that she was wearing a causal t-shirt at the moment when she was denied entry. However, The Bravo star visited the luxury store the next day dressed in a tweed skirt suit, sunglasses, and heels. She shared a series of photos and a video and revealed that the three 'lovely' security guards standing at the door let her in without any objections.
She lived her 'Pretty Woman' moment and made a statement by buying multiple items from the store. She shared photos with the shopping bags and captioned them, "BIG MISTAKE… BIG. HUGE."

Frankel added, "Gotta get a pap smear appointment and also to walk into Chanel. No big deal." Bravo star explained, "I would never want anyone to feel lesser than, particularly from a luxury brand making billions off of people buying into the hype." She elaborated, "Chanel is a beautiful brand with timeless classic pieces. Being kind to customers of all socioeconomic backgrounds is also timeless and classic."

Bravo star Bethenny Frankel recently clapped back at critics who mocked her shopping outfit choice. The reality star shared a screenshot of a direct message she received in response to her Instagram Story selfie. In the photo, Frankel wore jeans and a denim jacket with a shearling collar layered over a printed sweater.
She accessorized her look with sunglasses and a large brown crossbody bag. Bravo show alum captioned the photo, "Retail therapy." However, after a critic questioned her outfit choice, she responded, "It's about me putting on what I feel like on a Sunday." She added, "I hope you survive this... thoughts and prayers."

'RHONY' alum Bethenny Frankel has recently parted ways with her fiancé Paul Bernon, 45, after six years together. The breakup follows Frankel's announcement of the death of her mother, Bernadette Birk, at the end of April. Frankel has not yet publicly addressed her split with the real estate developer and film producer.
Frankel and Bernon first met on a dating app in 2018 and soon sparked a romance. They went Instagram official in December 2018, and Frankel gushed that he had "enriched [her] life immeasurably" as she celebrated his birthday in July 2019. Bernon popped the question "on an island off of Florida" in an "intimate" proposal to Frankel in 2021.
