'RHONJ' star Rachel Fuda slammed for 'lack of self-awareness' after taking jabs at Teresa Giudice's past
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Rachel Fuda accused Teresa Giudice of gaslighting when she referred to her husband, John Fuda, as 'the biggest drug dealer' during the Season 14 premiere of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'. As videos of Rachel insulting Teresa about her time behind bars circulate on the internet, people can't help but criticize the former for her choice of words.
In a video, circulating on Reddit, Rachel could be heard saying during the "Virtual Reali-Tea" live podcast filming on May 16 at Chelsea Table & Stage in New York City, "And like we're believing Teresa's swearing on her children, like really? I was like, didn't she go to jail for lying?"
Rachel, who was trying to fight Teresa's lies, fell into a trap with her comments. Even though her comments were met with a loud cheer at the moment, members of Reddit commented under the clip, "These 2 are the biggest desperate losers I’ve ever seen in my life." Another person chimed in, "Omg go away."
Others requested, "I'm never going to be team Teresa..but the Fudas seem to be confused as to whose show they are on. Respectfully, you are in your second season, ma'am. you are not the star. please have several seats."
A fourth user swore, "She’s like a mini Melissa on steroids. Even more self centered (didn’t think it was possible) and audacious. The minion has outshone the master. The Fudas lack of self awareness will be getting them all the gigs.."
One person also commented, "She literally got in the show to do exactly what Melissa did when she started. Make her whole storyline about Teresa. This woman or her husband can’t find anything else."
Another person added, "the whole "didn't you go to jail" "you're a criminal" is so tired. 😴."
Rachel Fuda accuses Teresa Giudice of 'manipulating' the 'RHONJ' couple
"It’s manipulation and gaslighting at its pinnacle. You have to be kidding me," Rachel said during the same interview.
"So you throw this fuel on this fire, and then you turn around and say, ‘But I think he’s a great dad, and he’s a great husband,'" she said during the Tri-State Cadillac-sponsored exhibition. Teresa sought to extinguish the fires of her drug dealer claim on May 12's 'RHONJ' episode by praising John's parenting.
"You don’t get to make judgments about anybody. He’s my husband. He’s fantastic,” Rachel added.
"He’s a fantastic father, and he is a successful businessman who has built his life to what it is now, and you are taking his life and you are manipulating his story.”
She also defended her spouse, saying, "I’m proud of him. I’m proud of his accomplishments, and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved as a family."
John Fuda 'disgusted' by Teresa Giudice trying to 'drag his reputation through the mud'
John also talked with Page Six during the "Virtual Reali-Tea" live recording, expressing his surprise that Teresa would drag his reputation through the mud. "I’m really disgusted with her actions because I think she’s been through it," he said.
“So she should know, by putting a varsity letter on me, how messed up that is considering I’m taking care of three children and my wife. Why would you hit my business? I’m not a main character.”
Louie Ruelas denies hiring investigators to stalk on 'RHONJ' costars
Teresa's spat with Rachel and John began after the latter accused Teresa's husband, Luis "Louie" Ruelas, of hiring a private investigator to delve into his background during the 'RHONJ' Season 13 reunion, which aired in May 2023. During the Season 13 finale, Louie said that Bo Dietl, one of his "best friends" and "one of the most famous private investigators in the country," willingly provided him with information on "everyone" in the cast.
However, during an episode of 'Watch What Happens Live', he said that he lied about the entire affair.
"I was at the end of my rope," he explained. "It was a long season."
Furthermore, Dietl confirmed to Page Six that he had "never done any investigative work against any cast members of the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey'.
