'RHONJ': Fans slam Melissa Gorga for belittling daughter's ACL injury and calling her lazy
Melissa Gorga once again managed to rub off the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' fans the wrong way by calling her injured teenage daughter 'lazy' instead of trying to empathize with her. The recently aired episode of the Bravo show featured Melissa excitedly planning for her daughter Antonia Gorga's sweet sixteen birthday party. While the housewife was feeling super enthusiastic and pumped for the event, the birthday girl herself wasn't in great spirits.
Melissa began questioning about the guestlist, Antonia then explained that people from both her old school and new school would be attending the party. When Melissa casually remarked that it would mean a lot of guests attending the party, Antonia snapped and called out her mother for forcing her to move schools in the middle of her high-school year. The 'RHONJ' star seemed unfazed about her daughter's angst and candidly explained in her confessional how her two sons were doing great in their new school. Melissa then shrugged off Antonia's attitude by blaming it on her ACL injury. The housewife felt that the injury prevented Antonia from tumbling and that was the real reason upsetting her. Antonia declared that she didn't want to tumble anymore even after she recovered from her injury. Melissa was hurt and upset on hearing her daughter make such a bold statement, so she retaliated by calling her 'lazy'.
