Super Bowl LVI: Is Odell Beckham Jr OK? NFL star's left knee injured again as team wins
The Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl LVI after defeating the Cincinnati Bengals by 23-20 on Sunday, February 13 at SoFi Stadium in California. Odell Beckham Jr of the Rams, however, had tough luck as he got injured after clutching the same left knee that he hurt during the 2020 season. ‘Damn OBJ’ and ‘Odell’ were some of the hashtags that trended on Twitter over the weekend as fans expressed their concern for the NFL star player.
Odell Beckham Jr got hurt after during the Super Bowl finale he reached for a short crossing pass from Matthew Stafford that was behind him. The 29-year-old then immediately went down and grabbed his left knee. Odell was clearly seen in pain as social media users shared that games should be played on real grass. The NFL player was seen hitting the bench as his team took on the Cincinnati Bengals. Speaking of his previous injury, Odell tore the ACL in his left knee during his match against the Cleveland Browns in 2020.
