'RHODubai' fans label Chanel Ayan 'insecure' for picking yet another fight with Caroline Stanbury

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: Oh, how the tables have turned for Chanel Ayan! When 'Real Housewives of Dubai' premiered, fans immediately took to the Kenyan-born supermodel's witty quips and her playful nature. On the other hand, former 'Ladies of London' star Caroline Stanbury was slammed by fans for being very "aloof" and uptight. But after watching a few episodes of the new bravo show, fans are steadily beginning to switch sides, with many of them calling out Ayan for being very "insecure" and "exhausting" to watch.

The recently aired episode of 'RHODubai' featured Ayan yet again going in after Stanbury over a harmless statement made by the latter. During a conversation, Stanbury casually talked about how many women are financially dependent upon their husbands despite having a business of their own. Though Stanbury wasn't even implying anything to Ayan, the supermodel interpreted her co-star's remark as a dig at her and snapped. Ayan called out Stanbury for being very condescending about her career and began listing out all of her accomplishments. In an attempt to prove that she was more successful than Stanbury, Ayan's rant came across as her being very insecure and annoying. Just like the other ladies on the show, 'RHODubai' fans too were puzzled by Ayan's over-the-top reaction to a casual remark by Stanbury.
