As the first international 'Real Housewives' franchise for Bravo, the upcoming 'Real Housewives of Dubai' has already managed to pique everybody's interest. The show's executive producer Andy Cohen explained, "Everything’s bigger in Dubai and I couldn’t be more excited to launch Bravo’s first international Housewives’ series in a city I’ve been fascinated by for years, with an outstanding group of friends as our guides.”
One of the ladies who will be featured on the upcoming Bravo show and giving us a peek into the glamorous life of a housewife in the 'City of Gold' is none other than Caroline Stanbury. Who is Caroline Stanbury?
Caroline Alice Stanbury was born in April 1976 to Anthony Stanbury and his wife Elizabeth Stanbury. Anthony is a venture capitalist and the former managing director of Jaeger, while her mother Elizabeth ran a luxury cashmere knitwear business. Caroline is no stranger to the finer things in life having been born into the prestigious Vestey dynasty (on her mother's side), who were believed to be the second wealthiest family in Britain after the King in 1940.
According to The Sun, Caroline has two brothers, Alex and Edward, and a sister, Victoria. She was educated at the prestigious Westonbirt School in Gloucestershire. Prior to becoming.a famous reality star, Caroline worked as a PR and a personal stylist, before eventually starting her own online gifting business called Gift Library. Owing to financial issues, Caroline had to close her business in 2015.
Caroline married Turkish financier Cem Habib. The couple were together for 17 years before announcing their split in 2019. Cem and Caroline share three children together- twin sons Aaron and Zac and a daughter named Yasmine.

Before settling down with her husband Cem, the blonde-haired beauty was linked to several celebrities. When she began working in PR in her early 20s, she was first linked to actor Hugh Grant. Though she never confirmed nor denied the rumors of her secret relationship with the Hollywood heartthrob. Caroline was also briefly linked to Prince Andrew after the couple was spotted together following his split from Sarah Ferguson.
Prince Andrew and Caroline reportedly went to Martha's Vineyard with Bill and Hillary Clinton. While the rumor mills are abuzz with the couple's split owing to the excessive media and public attention on them, Caroline has always insisted that she never dated the British royal. In an interview with DailyMail, she called it a 'case of mistaken identity. Referencing to a photograph from 2000, when Prince Andrew was spotted on a yacht with a mystery blonde, which had everybody convinced that it was Caroline. She clarified that it was in fact TV presenter Annabelle Bond, and not her with the Prince. She said. "Though I was named as the girl in the picture, it wasn’t me. It was Annabelle Bond. But even my mother thought that it was me at first!"
She also declared that Prince Andrew and she were nothing more than 'friends'. She said, "The truth is we have known each other for many years – he knows my parents and used to read stories to my brother and sister, but we have only ever been friends Nothing went on between us so it was awkward when we were wrongly linked in the press." Aside from Prince Andrew, another one of her high-profile romances include footballer Ryan Giggs.
Caroline described her relationship with the legendary footballer as 'strange relationship' and was relieved when things didn't work out between them after she found out that he was cheating on her. "I met Ryan Giggs at the Monte Carlo sports awards when I was 24. He was a big star at the time with Manchester United. But he wasn’t a huge party boy, he was quite shy. It was a strange relationship because he was always traveling so we spent most of it on the phone. He certainly wasn’t the love of my life." "Frankly, he did me a favor, if I had stayed with Ryan there is no way I would be where I am now," she explained about their breakup.
