'RHOD' Season 5 Episode 9 Spoilers: Why did Tiffany Moon leave the housewives' vacation so abruptly?
Things have been far from easy for new 'Real Housewives of Dallas' star Tiffany Moon. Ever since the new housewife was introduced on the show, she found herself butting heads with her fellow housewives. From perceiving her behavior as being bossy to very critical, Tiffany's fellow housewives have a range of perceptions about her. The new housewife's honest and unapologetic behavior towards the ladies didn't really help her cause much either.
Despite their rather critical perceptions about Tiffany, the ladies somehow accepted her into their group and didn't hesitate to be themselves around her, except for Brandi Redmond. As Brandi was still suffering the consequences of her past racist video resurfacing on the internet, where she mocked Asiana, being suddenly introduced to Tiffany caught the housewife off guard. Brandi began being hyperconscious and very guarded around the new housewife, as she was extremely nervous about offending or coming off as racist towards Tiffany. Unfortunately, this behavior of Brandi doesn't seem to be helping either Tiffany nor her.

The recently aired episode featured Brandi acting very awkwardly around Tiffany. While vacationing in Austin, the housewives decided to have some fun on a ship and got onto a cruise. Brandi began handing out motion sickness pills to her fellow housewives to help them cope with seasickness. Before taking the pill Tiffany examined the label of the pills and pointed out to Brandi that the pills she was handing out to them were different from the pills she had taken earlier. This harmless comment deeply hurt and offended Brandi, who felt like Tiffany was implying that she was handing out some unsafe or unknown drugs to the women.
Tiffany clarified that it was never her intention and only pointed out that the method of administering the pill was different and never commented anything about their safety. Brandi accepted Tiffany's explanation, and let it go. But later that evening, she confronted Tiffany and asked her if she was comfortable around her to which Tiffany replied yed. Tiffany was taken aback by Brandi's question and wondered if she felt uncomfortable around her. The housewife then explained that she was always walking on eggshells around her as she was always scared of offending or coming across as racist, which meant she could be herself. Tiffany was upset by Brandi's response and pointed out that she never for once believed that Brandi's racist video was made with any malicious intent behind it, and she never felt that the housewife was racist.
Tiffany then began to list out all the positive traits of Brandi, and how much she adored her. The new housewife then asked Brandi to share her thoughts and feelings about her. Brandi looked uncomfortable. Although we weren't shown Brandi's response, it looks like things didn't end well between the ladies. In the preview clip for the upcoming episode, we see Tiffany packing up her stuff in her room. One of the housewives asks her if her conversation with Brandi left her upset, to which Tiffany responds that it wasn't Brandi, it's herself.
Tiffany has dropped several hints about how the Covid-19 times has been hard for her, and also shared instances of being discriminated at the hospital she worked at by the patients. She also revealed how she felt sad and upset over being treated differently over something she had no control over. Looks like Brandi might have triggered Tiffany's recent bad experiences memories. D'Andra Simmons later tells the other housewives that Tiffany left the vacation because she was very upset. To know what exactly upset the housewife we will just have to watch the next episode.
