‘Real Housewives of Dallas’: LeeAnne apologizes for her 'comments' on the show, fans not buying it

The apology note doesn’t mention the comments or what she is apologizing for, which has irked quite a few fans, who believe that an apology without highlighting her reason isn’t even an apology.

‘RHOD’ housewife LeeAnne Locken has received some intense backlash for her “racist remarks” against new housewife Kary Brittingham. In the previous episodes and the latest episode, we see the housewife referring to Kary as “Mexican” and constantly using the word to describe her negatively.

Fans have called her out for her racism and have even demanded that she be fired from the show. Seems like LeeAnne has suddenly woken up to the backlash, which has been pouring in for weeks now. The reality star took to Twitter to apologize and expressed that it was never her “intention” to “hurt” or “offend” anybody. She tweeted a picture of the apology note, which reads, ”I am deeply sorry to those that I have hurt or offended with some of my comments on Real Housewives of Dallas Season 4. It was never my intention to hurt anyone and I will use this as a learning experience to be more aware of my comments in the future. My commitment moving forward is to continue my work fighting for equality and acceptance of all humans.”

The apology note doesn’t mention the comments or what she is apologizing for, which has irked quite a few fans, who believe that an apology without highlighting her reason isn’t even an apology.

A fan tweeted, “LeeAnne wtf was the apology @LeeAnneLocken you didn’t say what you’re apologizing for but you can say it when you’re angry?! Sis you already said it when you were heated SAY IT IN YOUR APOLOGY or else it doesn’t hold any weight #RHOD #housewivesofdallas”.

Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, “@LeeAnneLocken Okay I like you LeeAnne but an apology without addressing the actual behavior and actual words that you used to offend doesn’t hold much weight.”

Fans aren’t willing to buy her apology and began speculating the reasons behind her generic apology note. A fan wrote, “@LeeAnneLockenYea Yea just trying to keep the checks coming I see SMH don't believe any of this foolishness”.

Another fan commented, “I think this is #LeeAnne s last season! Or Andy is  gonna demote her to a friend... Her apology was not great and her comments were disgusting #RHOD”.

“Not meaning to hurt someone is saying something once maybe twice but to say it multiple times...yeah you were definitely trying to not only hurt someone but to also offend them!”, pointed out a fan.

Another fan said, “@LeeAnneLocken BS I call BS this is an effort to curb the backlash that she is encountering now”.
