We have over the years seen Mama Dee speak very highly of her second husband Glenn, and how he was a wonderful man. Unlike Glenn Simmons, who came from wealth, Mama Dee had very humble beginnings. She explained to the housewives how she grew up so poor that her family couldn't even afford an air-conditioner. But she was determined to turn her fate around, and made becoming rich the biggest goal of her life. Although she had no idea how to get rich, she just knew she had to get rich. At that time, she saw and read about Glenn Simmons in the newspapers and magazines.

Now, Mama Dee is a very beautiful woman, and even she's aware of it, so she decided to use her looks to her advantage. She began tracking down the places Glenn frequently ventured to, and ensured that she was present in those places. She took things one step further and even enrolled herself in the same school and courses as he did, in order to always be within his sight. She also revealed to the ladies that she was always dressed well and ensured she looked presentable.

With a lot of perseverance and determination, she finally managed to win over Glenn's heart and got her wish of becoming rich true after marrying him.
