What is D'Andra Simmons' net worth? Here's why 'Real Housewives of Dallas' star's wedding cost over $1 million
'Real Housewives of Dallas' star D'Andra Simmons is no stranger to a life of luxury. Unlike several of her fellow housewives, D'Andra didn't have to marry into affluence to enjoy the finer things in life since she was born into one of the wealthiest and most influential families of Dallas.
On the show, we saw the housewife cry hoarse over her mother Mama Dee controlling all the finances and cribbing about being broke, even though the housewife was reportedly never deprived of an extravagant lifestyle at any point in her life.
In case you're wondering just how rich the Simmons clan is, then D'Andra's recent interview with Andy Cohen on his talk show 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen' might give you an idea. During the interview, the housewife revealed that growing up, her family had three private planes!
While you're still trying to wrap your head around that, here's another snippet of the family's lavish lifestyle. When Andy asked his guest about the most expensive thing her parents got her, without batting an eyelid, D'Andra revealed that her parents spent a lot of money on her first marriage. She then explained that over a million dollars were spent on her big day!

Andy couldn't believe his ears when he heard the astronomical amount that was spent. Out of curiosity, he asked what contributed to such a hefty bill. D'Andra explained that her father rented out the entire sky of Dallas for her big day so that they could have fireworks in the sky for a few hours. Yep, while most people get a luxury car or maybe even a fancy vacation as a wedding present, D'Andra got a whole city's sky!
However, following her stepfather's passing, all of D'Andra's inheritance was locked up in a trust, which was being overseen by Mama Dee. D'Andra will only get access to the trust fund after her mother's passing. Needless to say, this clause has often resulted in some very bitter moments between the mother-daughter duo.
But eventually, things got better after Mama Dee handed over the family's business to D'Andra. Unfortunately for D'Andra, when she took over Ultimate Living, her family business, it was running in heavy loss.
So, the housewife had to act quickly to salvage the business and prove her mettle to her mother. After months of hard work, D'Andra managed to not only make the company profitable but also founded another company called Hard Night Good Morning with Ultimate Living as its parent company. With her family wealth, her business income and paychecks from appearing on 'RHOD', D'Andra's current net worth is estimated at $4 million, according to Cinemaholic.
'Real Housewives of Dallas' Season 5 airs every Tuesday at 9/8c on Bravo.
