ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: Tamra Judge, a star from 'The Real Housewives of Orange County', recently revealed to followers that she is expected to undergo surgery soon. In a December 2022 episode of her podcast titled 'Two Ts In A Pod', co-hosted by Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, the reality star opened up about her impending abdominal surgery.

Tamra said in the podcast that she will have "abdominal surgery at the end of this month." The reality star revealed that she "had an incarcerated hernia 10 years ago," which landed her in the hospital for over a week. "My stomach wall burst open, and they cut me like emergency surgery, I mean I could have died. Like my intestines were dying, they cut me down the middle of my stomach," the 'RHOC' star explained.

Tamra then mentioned that she is scared to wear anything that exposes her midriff due to how her stomach appears after surgery. "That’s why I don’t like my stomach because I don’t really have a belly button," She said, adding, "Now, 10 years later the scar tissue is building up, and I’m getting a big lump on my left side of my lower stomach, and then because my stomach is half mesh and when they did the surgery, they reattached my bottom stomach muscles, but my upper stomach muscles are loose from having children."

The Bravo host reportedly requested that her doctors "fix [her] belly button" before her operation. "He said 'we can do that yeah,' but most of all, just reconstructing it because of the scar tissue that built up and the big bulge that’s coming out on my left side is a concern, so yeah, it’s not going to be fun," Tamra said.

Tamra took to Twitter on Thursday to tell her fans how she was preparing for her surgery. She wrote, "Trying out my old lady recliner. Abdominal surgery in the morning. Wish me luck."

Even though her ardent fans and podcast listeners were aware of the reason for the operation, many assumed it was a tummy tuck. A comment under her tweet read, "Abdominal surgery is that the buzz word for tummy tuck..lol." Another person added, "Another tummy tuck? I hope the surgeon remembers to put in a belly button this time."

Assuming this is her attempt to look younger, another fan wrote, "Tamra , why do you want to look 20 years old?????" One Twitter user also wrote, "Pray for her elective surgery? yeah no."

Tamra said on a February 2022 episode of 'Two Ts In A Pod' that she felt she had "autoimmune issues" as a result of her saline breast implants. She stated that she opted to get the implants removed in 2021 and that her health greatly improved following the procedure. "In result of removing my breast implants is that I have zero signs of autoimmune disease, zero signs of thyroid Hashimoto’s, my thyroid levels are actually perfect, no inflammation in my body and I can be off all medication, thyroid medication," the 'RHOC' star explained.

Tamra also stated that she previously had silicone implants that had no negative impact on her health. "I had silicone implants forever for 25 years and I, obviously, had them replaced multiple times but this last time I had them put back in, I had saline which I never had saline, which they are supposed to be safer but evidently, it was the bag that was carrying the saline solution, the actual implant bag is what my body was rejecting," Tamra explained.
