There is a confirmation that Tamra Judge will return to 'The Real Housewives of Orange County!' Not everyone is thrilled with her return to the Bravo reality show, though, if fan sentiments are taken into account.

The reality star stated on Tuesday, July 19, during an episode of 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,' that she will return to the hit Bravo series as a full-time Housewife for the upcoming 17th season. "The judge is back and drama is in session," she remarked. "Ladies and gentleman, it's true — Tamra Judge is returning to the Real Housewives of Orange County," Cohen announced. However, it appears that fans of the show are divided about her reappearance.

The news comes just weeks after Judge lambasted 'Real Housewives of New York City' alum Jill Zarin in a since-deleted video for allegedly ruining her comeback. Zarin turned to Instagram Stories in the clip, which was obtained by a Bravo fan account, and said, "Tamra's coming back, and my friend Vicky's not happy." It didn't take long for the clip to make its way around social media and eventually into the hands of Judge, who tweeted, "Go f**k yourself @JillZarin! You thirsty b**ch!" Zarin later apologized, saying in a new video that she had no "inside information" and was only repeating a headline she saw. "Thirsty about what?" Zarin inquired. "I'm so happy for you. You wanted this and I'm happy for you. Why is there any ... anyway, we're gonna have to straighten this out."

Judge originally appeared on 'RHOC' in 2007, during its third season, and was a regular for the next 12 seasons before being sacked in January 2020, prior to Season 15. Fans have been pleading for her return to the series ever since, with her name frequently appearing in discussions on social media, in the press, and on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.' Throughout her time on the show, the outspoken, opinionated actress provided some of the show's most memorable events, including the first wine toss. Tamra also starred in a three-episode spinoff series, 'Tamra's OC Wedding,' which followed her June 2013 wedding to Eddie at the Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California.

After leaving the show, Judge concentrated on her thriving businesses, Vena CBD and CUT Fitness, and began co-hosting a popular iHeartRadio podcast called 'Two Ts and a Pod,' with 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. She also has four children: sons Ryan Vieth and Spencer Barney, as well as daughters Sydney and Sophia Barney. Judge featured on Peacock's 'The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Ex-Wives Club' in June. Former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Taylor Armstrong and Brandi Glanville, Phaedra Parks and Eva Marcille from 'Real Housewives of Atlanta,' Jill Zarin and Dorinda Medley from 'RHONY,' and Vicki Gunvalson - Judge's close friend and former RHOC costar — all star on the show.

Fans went to social media as soon as the announcement was made to express their thoughts. Although most fans appeared to be pleased with her return, a significant number were disappointed. Calling Judge full of drama, a fan wrote: "She makes watching hard. Everything is hateful and full of drama. Her husband and daughter don't want her on the show, but she'll do anything to be on tv. That's why she's the worst. She's mean because she thinks it's good tv. The Donald Trump of housewives."

Another fan tweeted: "Hell no .. what a waste."

Comparing Judge's return to her co-star, Heather Dubrow, a fan wrote: "Well I didn’t watch when dumbass @Andy and @bravotv brought back the most boring hw @HeatherDubrow I’d rather  watch snail p0rn than watch her. Now they’re being Uber creative and bringing back @tamrajudgeOC I will not watch again for the 4th season straight."

Predicting what could possibly happen with Judge's return, a fan tweeted: "Oh, Lord. This is probably going to play out one of two ways: A. She's going to try and be the fan favorite and takedown Heather B. She's going to be a menace like in the old days and give this cast hell! Either way, the RHOC ladies bett r get ready."

Speaking about the announcement, a fan wrote: "That might be the corniest comeback announcement I’ve ever seen in my life. #TamraJudge #WWHL #RHOC."

Judge's comeback to 'RHOC' comes a year after Heather Dubrow's return. She previously appeared on the show with Judge from seasons 7 to 11. Last season's Housewives included returning favorites Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Shannon Storms Beador. Noella Bergener and Jennifer Armstrong joined the group as newcomers, although both have since announced their departure from the show. Season 17 of 'RHOC' is set to begin production next week. The airdate is yet to be announced.
