'Real Housewives of Orange County' fans skeptical of Shannon's motives in supporting Gina through her rough patch

As Shannon takes Gina under her wing during her painful split from husband Matt, fans are suspicious about Shannon's intentions

Shannon Beador of RHOC has gone through an ugly split with her ex-husband David Beador after 17 years of marriage when she found out he was cheating on her. It took two seasons of RHOC for Shannon to come to terms with her new single status and heal from the painful divorce.

Seasons 12 and 13 saw Shannon breaking down and falling apart as she dealt with her divorce. During this time, she was very critical of her fellow housewives for not being supportive, especially Gina Kirschenheiter.  Gina was very cold towards Shannon and the two shared a very strained relationship in season 13.

Come season 14, and things have changed drastically for both women in terms of their personal life. While Shannon is finally beginning to enjoy and live her life to the fullest, it’s Gina's turn to fall apart as she deals with her soon-to-be ex-husband Matt cheating on her. She finally opened up to the other housewives about what is going on in her life.

Gina finally reveals to the other housewives that the reason she decided to separate from Matt was because he was having an affair. She revealed that she knew about it but held on to it hoping that their marriage would work. Now, she has finally decided to accept her fate and deal with it. All the housewives come out in support of her, including her former enemy Shannon.

Tamra Judge, in fact, shares this with Shannon and suggests that Shannon help out Gina, as she went through a similar situation and would be the best person to relate to Gina and help her out.

Shannon accepts readily and reaches out to Gina and plans a fun day out for her around Beverly Hills. Shannon was being extra nice to Gina. At the same time, Shannon is also seen gossiping about Gina’s arrest warrant with Tamra, right before meeting Gina to help her out.

Shannon’s actions have raised doubts in the minds of fans about her intentions towards Gina. They are finding it hard to digest that Shannon is doing all this out of the goodness of heart.

One fan tweeted, "I can’t tell if Shannon is being a genuine friend to Gina. #rhoc". Another pointed out, "@ShannonBeador so Gina is confiding in you right ... she's there crying her eyes out... how long till u go tell @TamraBarney and make fun of Gina instead of just being happy u r able to help her and bring a smile to her face #RHOC".

Shannon's track record of gossiping and being mean isn't exactly helping her cause either. As fans strongly suspect, it is only a matter of time before she throws Gina under a bus.

"Shannon is only being friendly to Gina bc she is miserable.   Don't be fooled about her being soft to her now.  It's not real.  In about 5 mins she’s going to call Tamra and talk shit about her.  #RHOC", wrote a concerned fan.

Do you think Shannon is genuinely being supportive of Gina or this is just one of her ploys to get a bit of gossip off her misery? Let us know. Catch all the drama and fun from season 14 of 'Real Housewives of Orange Country' every Tuesday at 9/8c only on Bravo.
