'RHOC' fans slam Nicole James for being 'the worst friend ever' to Noella Bergener

Nicole James' indifference while her friend Noella Bergener was having a breakdown irked 'RHOC' fans

After being served divorce papers from her husband James Bergener aka Sweet James out of the blue, 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star Noella Bergener was devastated. She needed her best friends and girlfriends by her side during this rough time in her life, so she reached out to her dear friend Nicole James for some support and a shoulder to cry on. The ladies met up for a drink, and by the end of it, Noella realized that her idea of friendship and Nicole's were totally different.

Noella had a total breakdown while recounting how James treated her, instead of consoling her friend who was clearly in a lot of pain, Nicole just kept staring blankly and playing with her hair. When Noella finally began demanding a comforting hug, Nicole hesitated quite a bit before giving her the hug. But things just kept getting increasingly awkward and cringey between the ladies. While Noella was in the middle of a huge breakdown, Nicole got up and began insisting that they leave the place quietly without drawing any attention or creating a scene. Fans didn't appreciate how Nicole seemed to be more concerned about her image rather than being a good friend to Noella.

Several fans took to Twitter to slam Nicole's behavior towards Noella. A fan tweeted, "Did you notice how cold Nicole was toward Noella? She lacks empathy and compassion. A total robot. How can you not comfort someone in that situation? #rhoc." Another fan wrote, "Nicole is a crappy friend and definitely not supportive of Noella. Holy cannoli what a b*tch #RHOC." Nicole continued to prove the fans right about being a bad friend to Noella when she tattled on Noella to Heather. Nicole revealed to Heather that Noella called her a "fake b****" after getting drunk.
