Usually when a housewife first makes her debut on the hit Bravo's 'Real Housewives' franchise, her entire family especially her significant other is always featured in her introductory episode to help the audience get acquainted with the new cast member better. But this wasn't the case with 'Real Housewives of Orange County' newbie Noella Bergener. Noella made her big debut as a full-time housewife on the OG 'Real Housewives' series in Season 16.

She made a brief cameo during the show's Season 15 as one of Braunwyn Windham Burke's friends. When Noella was introduced, surprisingly fans weren't introduced to her husband popular attorney James Bergener aka Sweet James, whose face is plastered across southern California as part of his firm's advertising campaign. But Noella made up for his absence by showering praises upon her husband and raving about what a great person he is. Even though Noella seemed to be in a very happy marriage with Sweet James, unfortunately, her world came crashing down when she was served with divorce papers from him out of the blue. As Noella tries to make sense of what's happening with her husband and marriage, fans began getting curious about Sweet James. So if you're interested in knowing more about him, then keep reading.

Who is Noella Bergener's husband Sweet James?

Although James wasn't featured on any of the 'RHOC' episodes, Noella revealed quite a bit about him. She shared that her attorney husband is an ex-Mormon from Utah. The couple reportedly met up at a hotel for the first time, and after spending the night together, they immediately began dating. Noella and James were together for over six years but were married for just one year. They have a son named James Jr. together. The housewife revealed on the show that their son was recently diagnosed with autism. She also has a daughter from a previous relationship, while James has another son from an earlier relationship.

James works as a lawyer at his law firm called Bergener Firm, which he founded in 2004. According to his LinkedIn page, "As a partner at Bergener Firm, James M. Bergener and his team have secured millions of dollars in verdicts for his clients. His practice extends to injury tort litigation involving car accidents, motorcycle accidents, truck accidents, slip & falls, defective products, police excessive force, road defects, and toxic exposure. Many of these claims are complex disability matters that benefit from the extensive knowledge and substantial resources the Bergener Firm possesses." "Mr. Bergener is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for their clients. Members make up less than 1 percent of lawyers in the United States," he wrote on the page.

James made headlines with his financial issues. On 'RHOC' Noella revealed that the couple were fighting over their finances after he was hit with a tax lien. She explained, "Unfortunately, there were some financial things that were not disclosed to me from my husband and it's associated with this house, so I cannot wait to just be done with it. It's a big stressor, not only for me, but for our marriage right now. It's just difficult to not have that trust." "I was in shock when I found out about my husband's tax debts. Initially, it was one lien for $4 million. Ten days later I found out that it was two liens and closer to $6 million," she added.

Since filing for divorce, James has cut off Noella financially and has reportedly not made any contact with her as per her recent Instagram post where she updated her fans about her current situation with her estranged husband.

'Real Housewives of Orange County' Season 16 airs every Wednesday at 9/8c on Bravo.
